Agro Sicily

We traveled for the new year 2026. The staff, especially Maria was very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were set up being quite spacious. My main question is if it’s a B&B or a badic hotel. If is a B&B: It lacks the normal equipment for a b&b as the rooms do not have a kettle and/ or a kitchen where one can place and use the areas. No cooker, no fridge and not cutlery It is a hotel: The reception us adequate and has a friendly approach. Breakfast was good with all the Italian goodies especially this time of year. Definitely it lacks a vending machine where extra drinks, sweets can be bought. What is lacking , which can be added at a very minor investment is Room AC left not powered off from the isolator No need to keep asking for karta igenica. It should be supplied as part of the housekeeping Shower gel should be provided all through the stay and not only for one wash. The co owner said we should bring ours. An extra room card should be given. Only one card supplied and hence being two in the room did not work. Cleanliness was very good. Clean towels, sheets and room. Keep it up. Hot water readily available and shower pressure was excellent The place is peaceful, well kept and excellent for a stay. Gardens and pool area are beautifully maintained. Views of the nearby Mascali up to the Etna make this place the right location for a short holiday The owners need to decide if they are going to run the place as a hotel or a B&B. Then they equip it as such. Cannot be both. Minor improvements and definitely it can make it to the five star mark.

Good: rooms (beautiful, comfortable and spacious), bathroom, breakfast ok, although minimal, beautiful garden What we didn’t like: - not a very welcoming feeling (rules everywhere and for everything) - beautiful garden and swimming pool, BUT the whole neighborhood can come swimming there (on our day it was crowdy with a lot of small children) - quality of the breakfast could be better: nothing typical, nothing home made, white bread only, no omelet,… - location not top, too far from Taormina (certainly in busy season it takes you more than an hour) and the villages around the B&B are ‘nothing’ Our 5th stop in Sicily - in comparison with the 4 first, a little disappointing

Ideally located to visit Etna, but also Taormina and Catania. Hotel is brand new and very clean. The place is beautiful, view on Etna or sea and surrounded with fruit trees in the garden. Hosts are very Nice and hotel is not so big. You feel like if you were at home.

We are so happy to have found this beautiful B&B for a tranquil stay in impeccably clean, modern rooms on a well manicured property featuring a pool and loungers amongst olive and fruit trees. The rooms have a large terrace and breathtaking views. The breakfast included a variety of pastries, fruit, and savoury items. We also enjoyed a lovely light lunch on the poolside terrace. The menu featured some excellent Sicilian wines, beer etc. so one does not need to leave the property. There were some great spots for authentic arancini and gelato within driving distance. The outstanding service at this family run property was greatly appreciated. The staff were extremely accommodating and kind. Highly recommend this slice of heaven. A great respite from the crowds at Taormina and close to Etna and Catania.
