Having had the pleasure in visiting the hotel since 2016 at several occasions, the is little or nothing to complain about. In fact, in the last 2 years, we have had the privilege of staying in several 5* hotels, but none of them, have provided us with the level of satisfaction we enjoyed @ the SGHR. For sure, the SGHR is requiring a somewhat higher budget, but the return on investment is simply not comparable. Although the hotel is at the age of 24 years ( if I am not mistaken), it appears like a lady that has matured with the best care one could imagine. Even with a close look, it is difficult to discover any issue of insufficient maintenance. Maintenance is far beyond a 5*. And for the staff, we have met this year some staff that has been there for many years, while also the new staff, are showing that first of all, they have been well selected and trained, because all deliver the same high level of dedication to deliver outstanding service. I know from other resorts, how difficult it is to find new staff, but the SGHR apparently succeeds in finding the best. No real need to endeavor to elaborate related to the quality of the food. From the breakfast to the pool bar lunch area, the superbe dinner selection, the twice a week marvelous BBQ, the quality and selection is fully in line with the overall SGHR experience. My advice to hesitaters: give it a try and you will want to return over and over again. Our deepest appreciation for the entire team, which all of the, contribute to our amazing experience.
