A great place for a family gathering. We enjoyed the decks, hot tub, game room, backyard hammock & the comfy beds. We made s’mores 3 times on the fire pit. Thought we were lacking towels in the kid area but discovered them under the sink in the bathroom. Plenty of dishes, glasses, an extra fridge in the game room & wine cooler in the lower level. Good communication with the host & advice about hiking, which we did. We arrived before the rest of the family & had dinner at Campfire Grill, which was very good.

Lovely family ski weekend We had a lovely family gathering and ski stay at the VRBO property. The house was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed. The arcade room was a spectacular hit. We were grateful for owner's responsiveness to our questions and his continued support throughout our stay. We highly recommend this property, and we will return in future.

Family friendly & great location The house was the perfect spot for multiple families to meet up & enjoy a long weekend together. Good outdoor spaces and plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained between rock climbing wall & games in the lower level. Communication from host was excellent. Would stay here again!

Wonderful mountain escape!! Our group of 16 traveled to JMU for our daughter’s first family weekend, and we had a wonderful time at this mountain home! After enjoying the game and the great vibe in downtown Harrisonburg, we wanted to escape to the mountains for some fun and relaxation, and this home certainly delivered! With a fantastic game room in the garage, complete with a pool table, hoops, and a climbing wall, the kids were always entertained. The adults enjoyed the hot tub, fire table, and large dining room table for board games. The home was clean, well stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. And we really appreciated all the communication from the owner/host as well as courtesy extensions for check in and check out. We would definitely stay again and hope to make it a family weekend tradition!
