I really love this hotel, it is very suitable for quiet i friends. Myojinkan is the first hotel in Kamikochi. It is full of wood texture and has a long history. It has a sense of time travel isolated from the world. Myojinkan is located deep in Kamikochi. There is a 3-kilometer forest road from Kappa Bridge. The scenery along the way is amazing. It is a 10-minute walk from Myojin Bridge. Staying here can enjoy the quiet and beautiful scenery around Myojin Bridge in the morning. Dinner is a set meal, the ingredients are very fresh and the taste is very good. There are relatively few guests, and if you are lucky, you can enjoy the large bath alone. The most amazing thing is the public rest space. I have imagined countless times how comfortable it would be to sit by the fireplace and warm up when it snows heavily outside. I looked at the hotel's official website when booking. The hotel owner introduced everything about the hotel on the official website in detail. It can be seen that he is operating it very carefully. There are also some precautions and regulations for check-in, such as making your own bed, the power will be cut off after 9 o'clock in the evening and you can't charge your mobile phone, and there are time limits for using the bath. But as a hotel with only a few employees in the mountains, all of this is reasonable and provides an accommodation experience that exceeds expectations.

My husband and I stayed here while exploring Kamikochi.
The staff were energetic and friendly, and we have had some very fond memories. The food was also delicious, and the free refills were a great plus for us.
It was still chilly in the morning, but there were stoves burning in various places, and the thoughtful touches were comforting. We were also impressed by how clean the entire inn was. This must be the result of the hard work of the staff. We had a very satisfying trip.
Another interesting point was that the inside of the inn was a bit of a maze.

It is about an hour's walk from Kappa Bridge, the center of Kamikochi. It is a mountain hut type, but there are independent Japanese-style rooms and public bathrooms for bathing. You can see Myojindake at an altitude of more than 2,900 meters from the room window. The food is delicious and the quantity is sufficient. The Japanese girl in charge of reception is very friendly and can communicate in Japanese and English.

It's a good choice to go down to Qianyue. Unfortunately, the price is a bit too high. It should be higher than it should be.

We hiked from the bus terminal to this guesthouse which also serves lunch. On the way we could walked down to the river and took some lovely photos with autumn leaves. There are many tables and seats outside the guesthouse. I ordered Oden and it was good. After lunch, we crossed the bridge across Asuza River and soon reached the Okunomiya Torii.

We stayed here as a couple at the end of July. As the inn's introduction says, it's not a hospitality inn, but an inn for climbers. We stayed here because we wanted to take a leisurely stroll around Kamikochi. My husband liked the location because there are a lot of tourists and it's noisy near the bus terminal. We woke up at 5am and went for a walk to see the morning mist over the river and the monkeys. We booked a private room, but there was no TV, refrigerator, or tissues. You have to lay your own futon. The facilities inside the building are relatively new and clean. There is no air conditioning, and it's so cool in the mornings and evenings that you'll want a sweatshirt even in the middle of summer. There are not many side dishes for breakfast and dinner. If you ask the day before, they will make you a bento for breakfast. The bath was nice, but unfortunately we couldn't use the morning bath. It seems that you can see Mt. Myojin. You can borrow a hair dryer at the front desk. Wi-Fi is available, but the lights are turned off at 9:30pm. There are only a few inns, so it was high season and I don't think it's a good idea to pay a high price.
