Best Hotels in Matsuyama

The airconditioning was terrible. I woke up several times in the night because of the heat.

The location is good. Only 5 mins from the Dogo station and just beside Dogo Onsen. Room wise is not new, but clean and is still on a physical key system. The toilet has a bathtub and hot and cold water is using two tap scrolling system. I didn’t enjoy my sleep as there was a constant knocking sound at the closet which doesn’t seem to be from next door so it gives me the chills. Else it has its own Onsen and provides you with free sake and sweets. Overall I’ll give a 3.5 / 5 stars.

This is the garden suite that I set for the first night. It is located on the B1 floor of the hotel's annex, which is the first floor. I like it at first sight when facing the garden landscape. Facilities are very complete, humidifier Bluetooth speaker coffee maker and so on, as well as very comfortable mobile hammock! It is really comfortable to lie in the sun and read a book and listen to music. The hotel only has a mini Japanese local TV, but stay in this hotel and don't think about watching TV and experience the beautiful environment! I booked a two-day spa, signature massage and body & facial care package, to relax and unwind. The outdoor pool is only open from June to September, but you can still walk to the front to see the scenery. It is highly recommended to order breakfast and dinner because the hotel restaurant arranges every meal so well, I stayed for four nights without repeating the dishes all day. The hotel also provides airport transfers and round-trip taxis within Matsuyama Castle. A single trip of 3300 yen is a good deal. In short, I will come again in another season.

The room was smaller than I thought !! But I was very satisfied with the politeness and beauty of the staff ☺️ There seems to be three kinds of orange juice and two kinds of juice, and this time it was two kinds I hope there are three kinds next time I go again! It was a very nice inn♡

Very good hotel, personally feel that the hot spring hotel with breakfast and dinner is better! There are not many private soups in the building, and the waiters are very enthusiastic. There is a foot bath on the balcony of the room. Have an appointment with a friend and will go again.

新しくできたゲストハウスで、いつか泊まってみたいと思っていたので、今回たまたま宿泊しました。 受付の方が、到着時間に合わせて鍵の受け渡しをしてくださるので、予約時に到着予定時間を書いておくと良いです。 近隣にいろいろな飲食店がありますので、お好み焼き、クラフトビール、かき氷…等々、三津の滞在を楽しんでもらえればと思います。 一人で泊まるなら、ビジネスホテルの方がお安いかも…二人で泊まるならコスパはバッチリです。

It was excellent without fault for all parts of the hostel. The hosts were all friendly and I felt sorry for staying for one night. The host, Mr. Shinbei, was very friendly and the crepes in Susimon were really delicious :) I will visit again when I visit Matsuyama later. Highly recommended!

It's located right on the city train line, so it's super convenient for dining and sightseeing. The rooms are clean and good value for money. Breakfast is a buffet, so I think it's also good value for money. However, it seems to be popular, so there was a lot of congestion at check-in, and the front desk staff were just doing an assembly line and there were no smiles.
