Everything was excellent from the front stuff, rooms were cleaned, we even got our room before check in time

This was one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. Exceptional service, food, location,  and amenities. Would definitely recommend over others I've stayed in this area.

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Matthews / Indian Trail for my oldest son’s basketball tourney.  The hotel was conveniently located to the Carolina Courts facility, but also to many great restaurants and activities for our kids/family!  The staff was extraordinarily friendly, courteous, and made us feel welcomed from check in to checkout.  The hotel has cozy and spacious newly renovated rooms and the lobby/breakfast area should be done in the next few weeks.  Thanks to everyone who made my family’s weekend a GREAT stay 👍

Stayed at this hotel as a family member was getting married in Charlotte.  When I made the reservation, there was no mention of renovations which were occurring at the hotel.  A portion of the lobby and pool area were under construction,  And the elevators were not working!.  We were assigned a room on the 3rd floor and had to carry luggage up the stairs.   Just not ideal.   We did not have time to look for another hotel as we needed to change clothes and proceed to dinner.  The hotel staff were very pleasant and gracious.   Enjoyed the many items offered for breakfast.   Just wished that we had been made aware of the construction and elevator issues.

We arrived at the hotel about 5pm with our printed confirmation in hand which stated that we had reserved a ”2 King Suite Extra Living Area”.  The reservation was made directly on the IHG website.  The personnel at the front desk told us that the hotel does not even have that type of accommodation and, furthermore, that the website had been wrong before!  Am I to REALLY believe this?  That a business as large as IHG doesn't have an up-to-date and accurate website?  REALLY???    Rather than go to a different hotel and the hassle that involves, we eventually settled on a double queen room at an only $7.00 savings!   Since the elevator was also out for an estimated couple of hours (another problem), the staff did agree to carry our luggage for us the stairs, but we settled on a first floor room since what we reserved was not available anywhere.  Not a happy customer.
