Where shall I start...Our stay way pretty perfect! Most of you know Mauritius for the big hotel areas, so it was an absolute miracle that we found this lil gem on the island. We had a wonderful 9 days at the SALT of Palmar. We loved that it was super tiny, and very familiar, every corner had a special detail and the service was superb. The staff really makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a Mandarin Oriental Standard, then this won't be the right one. But what this hotel had, is a lot of soul and personality. Rooms: Book a room with a sea view. We had one, but I would say that that's the magic of it. You will realize quite fast that the hotel is refurbished, so here and there you see that it's not 100% up to date, but it really doesn't matter. The rooms were super clean, and spacious and had a great personalized interior. Housekeeping in the morning and also for turndown service did a great job. Thanks to the team! You will see that TV is missing and also Mini-Bars, but that's why you have chosen a Lil boutique hotel over a big chain. Beach: The beach is beautiful, clean, and located around the corner, so u don't get the feeling that it's getting crowded with too many guests, what I loved. The pool is nice, but there could be more sunbeds. Be aware that you are on the eastern side, so when u arrive in August or September, it's very windy and may get chilly. While in November, you will be happy to have the breeze. Snorkelling: Yes, you can snorkel, and you will see fish. But don't expect reef-like on the Maledives for sure. Food: ONE OF A KIND. If you are looking for endless buffets and a big choice just to look at, this won't be your cup of tea. The food was just amazing. Very individualized menu, a big variety. We didn't eat twice the same. The breakfast menu was outstanding and so was the coffee (which usually always sucks in hotels). Nevertheless, you have to say that if you wanna dishes outside the included menu or wines, they are quite expensive (even for Europeans). The only experience, where we were not really stunned, was the cocktails at any point. Watery, not really strong etc. Foodservice: A very big thanks to the service team. you made our experience stunning, also the way you took care of my parents and everything around my mom's birthday. OUr warmest thanks to Vidusha!! But also to Vinesh, Med, Vajna and Vashish (I Hope I got the names right) We hop to see you soon!

Their collective attention to detail, promptness, and friendly demeanor were remarkable. However, the standout personality and the heart of the Constance Belle Mare Plage was Kris. You will find him on the beach, armed with an unbeatable selection of cocktail recommendations. His mixology skills are top-notch, and his engaging conversations coupled with a fantastic sense of humor made our beach days exceptionally memorable. Kris was not only an employee of the hotel but became a friend who enriched our stay. Located in the southern Taihao Hotel, we stayed for three days to set a package for breakfast and dinner! We were admirably delighted with our two weeks spent at the Oberoi - Mauritius hotel and can only recommend it to anyone looking for relaxation, in a heavenly environment and in a luxurious structure, with a high level of services. The escape begins just after booking, some 9,000km away. The reception and concierge team were responsive and very attentive in organizing our stay before our arrival. Vinay, the driver, will be the first face of the Oberoi that we meet. During the journey from the airport, in a luxurious sedan, he immerses us in the Mauritian atmosphere and presents the hotel to us eloquently, which suggests the best. He hands us his business card, making himself available for the days to come. Arriving at the hotel, a personalized welcome with check-in directly in your villa: exclusivity (that’s true luxury!) is felt and will reign for the rest of the stay. The staff ensured our comfort in a very professional manner, while maintaining human warmth: we feel at home, almost with family, but always with the required distance. Beautiful hotel with disappointing poor level of service. We have visited several O&O resorts before (Maldives, etc), so we were expecting something different. The rooms are big and very well planned, you have a view either to the seaside or to lagoon side. The cleaning service is not so good: some towels very missing nearly everyday, the sheets were not changed for 4 days-until we called reception asking to change it. Beach is long and nice, but the entrance to the sea is full of stones & corals that really hurt your feet. I don’t understand why they were not cleaned away at least in some areas. Beach bar service is very-very slow: you can wait for menu or your order for ages, many times we were going to the bar to order as no one will come to see us. Also it’s not nice to have a lot of local traders at the hotel beach, that pay local management to have access to the beach & be able to sell jewellery, shells & fake Dior & LV goods. The DJ at the beach & sunset & disco was super cool - enjoyed his music a lot! Sunset at the beach is spectacular!-do not miss it. Breakfast is very good: fantastic choice of food & very tasty. La Point restaurant at the beach is also good for lunch: fast service, good food. Tapasaki is an Asian a La carte - highly recommended for dinner. La Terrasse has great choice of food for buffet dinner. The other restaurants have serious service problems: very long waiting time just to get a menu and/or place an order. We were waiting for sommelier in Prime restaurant for 30 minutes-just to order the wine. Lunch at Badamier is also a disaster-you will spend at least 2 hours to get served & eat. Concierge service is terrible: you can get a reply to your whatsup after 4-5h, we also gave up queuing for the 1 concierge on duty after 30 mins of waiting in the line. It’s totally unacceptable for O&O. Overall the hotel did not meet our expectations of O&O resort, it’s very disappointing.

For the second year in a row, we felt completely at home at the Dinarobin from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We were here last year and really enjoyed our time then. This year we felt even more welcome and well looked after. Everyone at the hotel – from reception to the mahogany bar to the restaurant – is extremely service-oriented, courteous and really tries to fulfill every wish. We love the extensive hotel complex with its many pools, the wonderful spacious rooms, the beautiful beach area and the delicious food. The beach of Mao Ball really doesn't want to hold too high expectations. This is the third home in Mao Ball. The service and the first two are really incomparable, because the former one lived in a bubble and served too much. There is no comparison here, you can only say that the price is OK, after all, this price is cheaper in the hair ball. To praise the bath water here, because the bubble is open air, so the bath water is cold at night, no matter where the bath water is good in the morning and evening, it is close to the SUPER U flacq shop. Go to the hair ball and try to avoid Sunday. We had 2 weeks of this trip, which was wasted. The public holiday supermarket of Zhoumao Maoshu was closed, the hotel was closed, and the project did not have to play.

Simply perfect! A paradise on earth! Andrea, our spanish reference at the hotel, was superfriendly, kind and profesional! You'll be very wellcomed at BCN when u'll  come back Berenice, the Marketing manager, was supernice, we had very good conexion with her!  Since the very beginning we feel like at home. Our appartment was GREAT! very well decorated, full of details. It has one king size bedroom superconfortable,  the bathroom was very clean and spacious with everything we need  with a shower and a bath, totally new. The Kitchen was full equipped  and the Saloon had a confortable sofa.  The terrace has a great view to Mautius Sea! The breakfast was incredible! Prepared by James and his wife! Oranje juice, fresh fruits, cereals, yogurt, ham... The cheff prepared  us delicious omelet with vegetables. There were delicious boulangerie and all kind of breads. We've really enjoyed the breakfast! Coffee, tea... really good coffee!  Best breakfast we've ever tried! Plenty of energy for starting our tour to Mauritius! The decoration of the appartment was very luxury, I cannot stop taking pictures of every corner. The infinitypool was simply perfect! We've been taking a lot of pictures  with the sunset All the staff was superfriendly, specially Sammy, the guy on the reception! He was very nice with us! It was a short stay but intense! We have to come back, for sure! We're so pleased for all U've done for us! Thanks a lot

Stayed for a week in February. A well travelled couple (40 + 51) looking for chilled luxury and a chance to recharge. Maritim is perfectly pleasant and you'll have a nice holiday, just don't expect 5 star modern luxury. Pros: - The property grounds are huge: tropical gardens, equestrian, golf, beach, pool and much more so the place never feels crowded or busy - La Marée on the beach is a great spot and the a la carte restaurants were generally pleasant - Room was comfortable and clean but a little basic. - Lots of activities are included or just a small extra charge. - The location is beautiful! Drinks overlooking the ocean were so relaxing. Cons: - The property is dated and needs repairs in lots of areas. It was a bit shabby and needs maintenance. Def not a 5 star look. - The main buffet restaurant was not great and it had lots of birds and bird poos on the furniture. The staff were very inexperienced in this restaurant. Top Tips: - we took a helicopter ride to see the underwater waterfall and it was amazing. Expensive but worth it. - book the a la carte restaurants instead of the buffet. - visit the little zoo and take a horse ride to the beach. We were complete beginners but loved it!

The surrounding area of the hotel is really desolate, it is farmland, but it is because of this, the hotel is very quiet, not noisy, I like it very much, the suite is really big, my husband and I are super satisfied, only stayed for three nights and felt that it was still unfinished. Mauritius Unless you live near the port of Louisville, the location of the basic resort is relatively remote. Although Banyan is not very big, it is very special. As far as the room is concerned, I feel better than the Long Beach we stayed in because of We also watched the sunset in the northwest area, it was very complete~ the hotel staff were very warm, let us have a warm feeling of home!

Rats in restaurant On arrival the hotel is really beautiful - a small oasis tucked away with gorgeous colonial style. The reception staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome. The room was really nice - but there were a few things we noticed (which we let slide at the start) - massive dirty lipstick mark on one of our water glasses, filthy lampshades above the bathroom sinks, bed linen that didn’t feel particularly fresh and the robes as well had a slight greyish colour rather than bright white which they were meant to be. These were all minor things at the start which we didn’t even mention to each other but did notice. We then had our first night at the cocktail bar where our drink was served by the lovely barman (very polite and smily) - as we were drinking we saw a huge rat run across the terrace - we decided it was an island and maybe this is normal (although we really weren’t happy about it). We then were dining within the restaurant and again a huge rat was running towards the table. For us, this is not ok. We asked to move tables as we saw a rat and the waiters barely acknowledged it - didn’t offer any apology and then proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of the night. We informed the manager the next day who assured us he was aware and the rat had been caught, and to “give it a chance”. We weren’t offered so much as a complimentary drink. After dining in the restaurant again the second night and again seeing a rat - for us it was time to check out. Not only is it unpleasant seeing rodents running around while eating but I would say it’s a hygiene issue and makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the safety of the food. The only concession we were offered was to not pay for the remaining nights that we would not be staying for. Really disappointing. On hindsight some things we would add about the whole experience: - Not a 5 star in terms of food, service or cleanliness - Staff really hit and miss - some very friendly some really rude and unhelpful - Rooms didn’t feel clean - Food was average - nothing felt fresh including breakfast - Quite stingey with water - water not replaced within our room (had to ask for it) We are now staying at a different hotel and haven’t seen one rat, so don’t think this is “just an island thing” as the manager stated. The service and food are also worlds apart which has really solidified that our review of 20 degres sud as completely justified - not a 5 star experience whatsoever.

Where shall I start...Our stay way pretty perfect! Most of you know Mauritius for the big hotel areas, so it was an absolute miracle that we found this lil gem on the island. We had a wonderful 9 days at the SALT of Palmar. We loved that it was super tiny, and very familiar, every corner had a special detail and the service was superb. The staff really makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a Mandarin Oriental Standard, then this won't be the right one. But what this hotel had, is a lot of soul and personality. Rooms: Book a room with a sea view. We had one, but I would say that that's the magic of it. You will realize quite fast that the hotel is refurbished, so here and there you see that it's not 100% up to date, but it really doesn't matter. The rooms were super clean, and spacious and had a great personalized interior. Housekeeping in the morning and also for turndown service did a great job. Thanks to the team! You will see that TV is missing and also Mini-Bars, but that's why you have chosen a Lil boutique hotel over a big chain. Beach: The beach is beautiful, clean, and located around the corner, so u don't get the feeling that it's getting crowded with too many guests, what I loved. The pool is nice, but there could be more sunbeds. Be aware that you are on the eastern side, so when u arrive in August or September, it's very windy and may get chilly. While in November, you will be happy to have the breeze. Snorkelling: Yes, you can snorkel, and you will see fish. But don't expect reef-like on the Maledives for sure. Food: ONE OF A KIND. If you are looking for endless buffets and a big choice just to look at, this won't be your cup of tea. The food was just amazing. Very individualized menu, a big variety. We didn't eat twice the same. The breakfast menu was outstanding and so was the coffee (which usually always sucks in hotels). Nevertheless, you have to say that if you wanna dishes outside the included menu or wines, they are quite expensive (even for Europeans). The only experience, where we were not really stunned, was the cocktails at any point. Watery, not really strong etc. Foodservice: A very big thanks to the service team. you made our experience stunning, also the way you took care of my parents and everything around my mom's birthday. OUr warmest thanks to Vidusha!! But also to Vinesh, Med, Vajna and Vashish (I Hope I got the names right) We hop to see you soon!
