Victoria Beachcomber Resort & Spa

Absolutely incredible time here with my wife and 4 year old. Rooms are big and comfortable and all have beautiful ocean views. The resort is well laid out with everything in close proximity. The bars on the beach and pool side service are top notch, making it easy to order food/drinks with little effort. Kids club has a great line up of activities. Although our little guy opted to spend more time with us on the beach and pool, the club team learned his name and engaged with him often. They are superstars. Boat house has a tonne of activities which gave us something different to try each day. Snorkelling off the beach got us close to loads of exotic fish. We took kayaks out and had speed boat trips too. The staff were so helpful and accommodating making everything seamlessly easy. Harsha and the front desk team could address anything we needed. Food was good all round, with the horizon restaurant being particularly strong both on menu and setting. I read lots of reviews on hotels in Mauritius before booking and had seen people pass comment on this hotel being a little dated. There are some parts that are showing their age, but the hotel is very well maintained and immaculately clean. There was nothing that would detract from a high quality experience. The Victoria has a genuinely great atmosphere with a village mix of all ages. I would rate it highly as a destination for a young family. The setting, staff and high quality of service make for an unforgettably enjoyable place to stay. Can’t recommend it highly enough. We love the place and will be returning as soon as we can.

Victoria Beachcomber is a beautiful hotel with perfect service. What makes it unique though, are the people who work there. With all my heart, I would like to thank the very talented Mr. Steeve and his amazing team of entertainers for making my holiday very very special. Steeve, Gertrude, Ameily, Melissa, Sophie, Stephanie, Ayvind, Clarino, Dpak, Cedric, Lorenzo and David, thank you for everything. I enjoyed all your activities very much. Clarino’s fit dance classes were so much fun, Ayvind made me try spinning for the first time and it was great. Dpak´s workout session was awesome as well. Gertrude, Sophie and Ameily I loved doing the aqua gym session everyday with you. I also enjoyed playing waterpolo and volleyball. Dpak, Lorenzo, Cedric and David, thank you for always chatting with me and making jokes. Mel, Sophie and Ameily, thank you for being my Mauritan besties and dancing with me till the last song. Every one of you tried your best to make me feel good and to make sure I have got everything I could possibly need. Your energy, humour, nonstop smiles and good mood made me so happy every day. Thank you all for being so welcoming and letting me spend time with you. You made Mauritius feel like home for me and I am very grateful for that. A part of my heart stayed there with you. If I ever get the chance to come back, I am definetly choosing Victoria Beachcomber again, because there is nothing I would change about this holiday. With love, Amalie from Czech Republic❤️

Service was very nice and our room was always nicely cleaned by Kishan. All the photographers were very helpful and kids club was the best. Food was always the same but for something different you can just book at the restaurant next door. Was very amazing

The Adults only section of Victoria is superb and worth the extra money for the newish rooms, private beach and nearby restaurants. The older part of the hotel is a disgrace with most rooms not usable due to mould and general deterioration. Those that are would more likely receive a 2 star or the equivalent of an old Holiday inn. The resort is undergoing a renovation in May and should be great afterwards as the location is super. The beach is quiet and offers a long stretch of reef to snorkel and swim on that you don’t often find anymore.

We stayed at Beechcomber, Victoria Hotel for Christmas 2023 holidays for 2 weeks, we have to say it was truly special. Christmas Evening in particular was spectacular! Food, Entertainment and Staff. Location was always going to be 5 star and it lived up to this. Beech is clean and beautiful white sand.(take beech shoes for paddling as they warn of Sandfish, but we didn't see any) Night time skies like out of a movie. Facilities on and off beech are well stocked and equipped to cater for everyone, for most things. But its the staff that makes the Victoria a special hotel. Kind, considerate, welcoming every time they see you. Training, good staff retention and recruitment post covid has not been lost on the Victoria. Thanks go to many staff making our holiday special but mainly Nadeem for looking after us so well in suite 364, and Office Manager Arielle Teebhoo. Try the evening meal on the beech, unbelievable experience in a wonderful setting! Kayaking, snorkeling and sailing, all included and great fun with the children. Loads of Beech Loungers, no need for the dawn raid of beech towels! (Excursions are at great value from the hotel also, Casela Wild Cat Safari well worth doing) We shall return!

Just an amazing holiday made even better by all the staff. Sanjeeva the head porta was great and helped in every possible way. The bar staff were great too lots of sink and cracking food. Will definitely be booking again in the future thank you Ryan and Katie LEavesley

We have just finished our honeymoon at the beautiful Victoria Beachcomber Hotel , staying in the Vitoria 2 adults only part. What an amazing honeymoon we have had here, the hotel and staff are amazing. We had a beautiful swim up room with beautiful beach, sea and sun set views. Cleaned twice a day by our very friendly room boy Salim. He was fantastic and always made time to stop and chat and serviced our room around our daily plans. Extremely helpful and friendly, a credit to the hotel. He even made time to come and say by as he was going to be off the day we departed. There are 4 restaurants on site but our favourite by far was the Morris Beef restaurant in the adults only part, with a vast range of Al a Carte choices for Breakfast, lunch and Dinner. The restaurant team were fantastic, very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and went that extra mile with every table in the restaurant. During the day their are sun beds on the beach and a swim up bar, Ram Raj would walk his little legs off up and down the beach all day serving drinks and food at your beach loungers. Extremely friendly and always made the effort to come and say hello, a credit to the hotel and Victoria 2 beach bar. The hotel and staff have made our honeymoon an unforgettable experience. We have loved every minute and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to all the staff. Especially Salim and Ram Raj for making us feel right at home here at the Victoria 2.

Loved our family holiday at the Victoria, we are a family with 2 children aged 16 & 9 and this hotel catered for us all! We stay in August and the temperature was prefect around 28/30 everyday, we did have an odd shower but nothing to be concerned about, it’s a tropical island and to be expected. This hotel has so much to offer and staff fabulous making you feel special from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. The food is great, breakfast had so much to offer, lunch & dinner in the buffet are a good standard. If you like to stay around the pool or beach in the day you can order snacks, the pizzas are amazing. The à la cart restaurants are really nice too, we loved both the sea food & Italian and had an evening at the adults only steak house due to a gala dinner & karaoke at the children’s club. Each evening the hotel offers entertainment is just right and perfect for the hotel. There is loads going on for the children, our teenager loved the free water-sports, played football & volley ball on the beach & used the pool/snooker table lots , all the teenagers had a great time together. Our daughter went into the children club a few times and just loved the pool, kayaks and pedalos. The swimming pool and beach are fab and you can always find sun beds you don’t need to be up at a stupid time. Thank you Ravi around the pool you were amazing making sure we were ok for drinks all the time. Little tip remember water shoes due to the sea urchins & coral. During our stay, our daughter came out in chickenpox, Ravi from customer relations was absolutely amazing, he was just wonderful putting us at ease that we could stay at the hotel if we couldn’t fly and checking up on us so we didn’t feel alone. We visited the hotel doctors (the hotel had its own surgery) which was a great help and they were able to give us items we needed to treat her. The only negative we have is that the hotel needs a little tlc in places, but I think we only noticed as we have recently spent a lot of our vacations in the Dubai were the hotel are a different level. All in all we are definitely going to return, thinking summer 2025, so see you then all the amazing staff at the Victoria & thank you, for a fabulous holiday to help us make even more family memories, even chicken pox haha.

My wife and I spent a week at Victoria for 2 in Victoria Beachcomber Resort and Spa. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the hotel. The hotel staff were very polite and were always at hand to aid us. The food provided at La Casa and Morris Beef was tasty, well presented and fresh. We would like to give a special thanks to Ravi, the reservations manager, Salim, our room service provider and Ramraj, bar staff who always welcomed us and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable. My family also stayed in the main hotel for a few nights and they thoroughly enjoyed the hotel facilities. There are many water sports provided by the hotel with a well equipped gym and spa facilities. We will definitely look to come back in the near future.
