We stayed for 9 nights in February. The resort was clean & the grounds were well maintained. We had a Seaview room with a balcony. The room was a good size. Bathroom was very large with a seperate bath, double shower & twin sinks. We were staying on half board but we got complimentary water in the room because we were raddison members. Breakfast had a reasonable selection but it became a bit repetitive. I would've liked to see different things such as French toast offered on different days. The evening buffer was a bit hit & miss for me. There was general indian/maurtian spicy food available but unfortunately I struggle with this. I would recommend the hotel publish in advance the buffet themes for the week then you can choose to prebook at the other restaurants if it is not to your taste. We did find that the prices in the hotel were a little steep compared to outside the resort. Sunbeds were plentiful we never had a problem. Service was very good. I had a manicure, pedicure & head massage at the spa. Treatments were good. Unfortunately my nail varnish started to peel off on day 2. I went back and they redid it free of charge. We were celebrating my husbands birthday during the holiday. The hotel arranged a special meal for us on our last night at the golf club which was lovely. They even brought him a cake. We had a cyclone hut whist we were there. Staff were reassuring & we received regular updates on the TV in our room. The TV was a little frustrating. Few channels available & the ones we had were defaulted to French. We found out how to change language but it would randomly change back mid view. The setting & beach were lovely. The pool was a very comfortable temperature & a good size for a swim. I would recommend mosquito repellent & we found it very hot & humid. The air conditioning in our room was a welcome relief. Take a good sunscreen because even when it's windy & cloudy you burn easily.

We were there to celebrate our honeymoon. Shikka welcome us very friendly and was always helpful. The kitchen and restaurant teams are amazing, always lovely and helpful. Specially Sunita and Rekha, everyday with theire lovely smiles. They had always gluten & lactosefree food for me. The food was very good. Also Vinod and Ramesh, they have interest to give us the best and that we are having a good time. They always told us: "if you're happy, I'm happy" We had also the best room maid, Jennifer, from the Housekeeping. She's lovely, very helpful and our room was always very clean. We felt like home. Thank you sooo much guys. We had a wonderful and unforgettable time there. You'll stay in our hearts. And we'll come back someday

Hotel is in the North of the island it is a small resort in well maintained grounds. Room we booked was a small bungalow with own plunge pool, room was big spacious, large bathroom with walk in shower, room was lovely but tired in places. There is a central dining room and bar serving food and drinks however all inclusive is not all inclusive only local drinks supplied the rest have to be purchased. Breakfast and lunch lovely with good selection although evening gets extremely busy , however evening meal choices could have been better , so busy one night we couldn’t find a seat and had to go back later , dining room could be bigger . Staff are helpful and attentive and very friendly Beach area is lovely but more sunbeds needed, activities on offer are good, canoeing, glass bottom boat are just a few to mention. Every Wednesday the hotel runs a free shuttle to Flacq market this is well worth doing we loved it, also paid trips out can be booked at reception to around the island , South of the island tour amazing thankyou to Ahmed for such a great tour Black rock is a small separate restaurant on site which can be booked there is a good set menu but you are given an allowance by the hotel against the a la carte selection Big downside here at present is the building work being carried out it’s quite disruptive, angle grinding and hammering with dust everywhere all around the pool area it’s not good Overall we enjoyed our stay it could have been much better without the building work going on and more information given

Reviewed 2 days ago We stayed for 2 weeks as a family in the hotel on an all inclusive basis. The staff here are second to none and go way above and beyond to make sure you have an incredible stay. Both the restaurant and bar staff really excelled and are an absolute credit to the hotel. Parts of the hotel could maybe do with a little refresh but to be honest, it wasn't really an issue. The grounds are beautifully kept. I'm an early riser and would always see the grounds maintenance team working hard before 5am. The food was good, different themes in the buffet restaurant each night. We also tried the other 2 restaurants on site and The Nine. All were brilliant. Drinks were plentiful and a good selection! Watersports were great, kept the teenager happy and the staff there were very helpful. Housekeeping was regular, cleaned well and we always had clean bedding and fresh towels. Mini bar stocked daily with beer, water and juice. There was a cyclone while we were there, something we've never experienced before, but the staff were amazing. Kept us informed throughout and made sure we had what we needed. And it only really affected 1 day of our holiday. I would absolutely return to the hotel. And I would go again in January. Yes, it was hot and humid but I don't mind that so much. The air con in the room worked perfectly and the pool or sea was always there if we needed to cool off. The breeze was also very welcome!

We had a lovely time in the resort. The staff is amazing, everyone is so super nice, from receptionists, through waiters, spa people, housekeepers, everyone! The facilities are ok, would be nice to have more activities/facilities for kids. Unfortunately the kids club was being renovated when we were there and moved to an ordinary room which was not great. But the kiddy pool was good. Maybe not enough sunbeds around the poop areas. The food in the main buffet restaurant was good, enough choices, we always found something we liked, lots of veg:), and always some local food to try. The Italian restaurant wasn’t great, the Black Rock was lovely, we loved the seafood platter, but the winner pit of all of them was The Nine!!!! An absolute pearl!!!! The food was superb!!! And the service incredible, we ended up going there for a meal almost every day:) the boys working there made our holiday, and soooo good with the kids:) special thank you to Rahul:) but Vyas and Lobin (apologiesif i’m misspelling names) were great too! Boys, thanks a lot!!! Other facilities, i used the spa twice, the quality of massage was good, and the environment bery relaxing, prices, proper English level though! Something we were disappointed with was the beach and the sea, very sharp rocks hurt my son’t foot:( we sticked to the pool. Shame the other „sister” hotel we could use was adult only. There is probably so much more to say about the resort but i think the above was just a highlight of our trip. Thank you all!

Wow we can't complement this hotel enough, we booked here to celebrate our honeymoon and we are so glad we did the hotel and staff went out of their way to make our stay extra special and with little effort the hotel is spotless and the staff work night and day to make it a special place, the food and drinks are amazing. We really didn't want to leave, there are so many people to thank its easier to thank the whole team, we had a plunge pool room which we used alot for our own privacy but the pools are really nice and the beach is also just next to the pools, all activities on the beach our included with the hotel i.e kayaks pedalos glass bottom boats etc, 3 extra restaurants to choose from apart from your day to day restaurant highly recommend the nine for a special meal. We had an encounter with a sea urchin out in the lagoon (its natural in a wild ocean can't blame the hotel 😄). The hotel was amazing we had holiday insurance and health insurance but the hotel insisted they pay for a taxi and to cover hospital fees, they truly go out of their way for their guests. I can't recommend this hotel enough and mauritius truly magical place. Thank you so much we are already planning our anniversarys with you

We stayed at the Azuri Resort pre cruising to South Africa. I chose this hotel not having visited Mauritius before. We had booked a private transfer and I was becoming more and more apprehensive on the journey to the hotel which seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. I really needn't have worried. We were met by the delightful Vinay Koomar the manager who showed us our room and explained the workings of the hotel. We were a little overwhelmed as it had been a long flight but nothing was any trouble. In fact the entire time we were there the hotel staff were nothing less than kind and helpful. The main Le Comptoir restaurant had plenty of choice for each meal. We dined at the The Nine Bistro restaurant at the golf club which was a lovely venue with free golf buggy there and back. We also dined at The Black Rock bar and grill that had an outside TV installed so if anyone wanted to watch a major football match they were able to do so. We chose all inclusive and the bar staff were extremely attentive at all times. Special mention must go to Josh who was very attentive to everyone and no-one was left waiting to be served. His eye for detail must be recommended. Nothing was too much trouble if there was no table he would find you one without any trouble. He is destined for greater things. We had a beachfront room with plunge pool which was cleaned every day. Our room was cleaned with crisp clean sheets on the bed so there was only one thing we would change and that would be for more coat hangers please. We had two extra days at the hotel thanks to the NCL (renamed No Customer Liaison) Cruise ship being unable to dock. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful which helped ease the uncertainty of our cruise debacle. I would like to thank Vinay, Josh and all of the staff for ensuring a wonderful time was had by all. Overall a five star review from me , hopefully we will be back.
