Enjoyed afternoon tea it was delicious fresh and seasonal. The fire was burning all beautiful with tasteful decorations and soft Christmas music in the background. Thanks to Caroline Aileen and to our wonderful server Valerie who made it happen and special. Great variety of savory and sweet cakes. Tea and a glass of Processo. Mixed feelings on my stay. My room was nice and prepared early for me which was hugely appreciated. It had a little seating area and a lovely modern bathroom, although the shower head wouldn't stay fixed at body height so I had to shower with it aiming at my middle. On one day the room wasn't serviced properly with no fresh water or fresh towels provided. Breakfast was ok but it was far too busy at the beginning of the week and staff didn't know how to cope. Gave up on waiting for the buffet to be replenished, had to shout across the room to get noticed to ask for tea or coffee, table not cleared etc. Only on the last day did a fantastic waitress ask me if I would like fresh tea! Made my stay. Must say there was a lovely older lady working the first day and she was very kind too. Otherwise, most of the breakfast staff were without warmth or care, and the manager was out of his depth. Bar was far too busy and even towards the end of my stay when it had calmed I had to push to be noticed or served. Left me felling quite invisible or an inconvenience. The staff did have time on two occasions to have a private moaning session during service which I found extremely unprofessional. Overall, a beautiful setting with a gorgeous entrance but lacking in that extra something that is needed in a four star hotel. Overall I left feeling disappointed.

Stayed in mulranny hotel with my partner and 3 month old baby, the hotel staff could not do enough for you. Our room was incredible big spacious family room so clean. The hotel staff so warm and welcoming. The nephin restaurant was absolutely incredible fine dining experience, the food was spectacular Michelin star worthy!! Matthew our waiter was so kind and a credit to the hotel providing service with a warm smile he even helped keep my partners food warm when the baby was crying. Top class service. Will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends

We recently stayed at the Mulranny Park Hotel and really enjoyed our visit. The setting is absolutely stunning — perfectly situated for exploring the Greenway and the many lovely local walks. It made an ideal base for our stay. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, which really added to the experience. Breakfast was excellent, with a nice range of options including gluten-free choices, and we loved being able to relax in the pool, sauna, and jacuzzi after our days out cycling and walking. Our room was comfortable. We had dinner in the bar on our first evening; while the food was tasty, the steak was a little smaller than expected for the price. A small note — it would be great if shampoo or body wash could be provided in the pool showers, as that would really enhance the experience. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend the hotel for its beautiful location, great amenities, and wonderful staff.

Room Nice and helpful staff. Restaurant below average. Breakfast awful. No laundry facilities. Out of the way so nowhere to walk for alternative dinner.

Stayed here September 2025. Nice hotel massive history behind it and lovely that it’s still open. Bar area horrible dark dingy looks like they painted it but forgot to finish it. Someone tried to do a modern look then abandoned an old style dressed loaded with delph looks ridiculous. Please decide if your decor is modern or classic. Food lovely bar food top notch service lacking. Wine delivered to table with 2 glasses no attempt to serve and minimal interaction 1 word from staff member. However room comfy pool lovely staff friendly just not trained.

We had such a fantastic stay at The Park Hotel Mulranny. From the moment we walked into reception, the open turf fire had us warmed up and feeling at home straight away on a wild & windy day. Our room was gorgeous. Luxurious, spacious, really comfortable, and the sea view was just stunning. The food throughout our stay was excellent too, with every meal spot on. What really made the trip though was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Val, the Duty Manager in the bar, couldn’t have done more for us. Jules our server looked after us so well at dinner with good humour and banter, and Oisin at the bar was an absolute star – friendly, professional, and great craic to chat with. The hospitality here is second to none, and we will definitely be back. I would highly recommend a visit to this lovely hotel, you won’t be disappointed. Five stars all the way!

An excellent trip to the Mulranny Park Hotel. We have been visiting Mulranny for over 30 years. I well remember walking up the causeway with our kids in the '90's to what was the relic of the former Southern railway hotel and imagining what it was like in its heyday, well the present incarnation is totally in keeping with what must have been a grand hotel. Perfectly located in beautiful Mulranny out in west Mayo, the hotel is perched over the unique causeway and steps that leads out to the pier and blue flag beach. We paid a little extra for a large double that gave an excellent view of this. The food was top notch, with plentiful breakfasts in a splendid dining room and the 3 course evening meals were of an excellent standard. Obviously the Guinness was great, although you do pay the hotel view premium price for the view from the terrace. The staff were helpful and cheerful and the hotel had a nice vibe, it's clearly the place to be, way out west.

Leisure facilities. This appears to be a public swimming pool, lots of teaching classes and training. No one observes the guidelines, ie diving and jumping , etc. Not a peaceful leisurely experience we were hoping for and not what you would expect from a four star hotel leisure facility. Staff are very helpful and kind.

We came from Dublin to this beautiful old hotel, has its quirks but the food and staff were just wonderful during our whole stay. Kids club was great and the pool was great for kids too. Definitely be back in the winter as it’s open all year.

Everything was great about the hotel. Only downside was the hotel room and corridor was always far too warm. Great to see the westie sheep roaming free.

We visited the leisure centre and on departure, an incident occurred. The staff were so helpful and looked after us so well. A special mention to Patrick who stayed with us for an hour until the ambulance arrived. They offered us refreshments and made sure the casualty was comfortable. The public were ushered to the front entrance by the manager, so privacy was ensured. Thank you all for your help to a satisfactory outcome.

Celebrated my dad’s 80th there last weekend. It could not have been better. The venue was fabulous. We had a large section of the bar on Friday night and had our own private room for dinner on Saturday. The staff in the hotel could not have been better! Every member of staff were so helpful and so friendly all weekend. They really made the experience for us all. Valerie in particular looked after us, checking in all weekend to ensure we were being well looked after. Thanks to everyone in Mulranny Park hotel.

I'm very disappointed after our weekend in mulranny park hotel. The apartment was way below standard and the service was not there . Iv stayed a few times over the last few years and was looking forward to a luxury break that we had before , but it was like we gone to stay in budget accommodation. The restaurant they forgot to bring the vegetables with the meal or ask us if we wanted more drinks or desert. My sons pizza was burnt . I sent an email and no one has got back to me . The lesuer centre was still lovely but it was the only bit of our stay that was as we expected. The kids club advertised didn't open on Saturday and when I took my son on Sunday there was a leaking roof with a container to catch the water in the middle of the room . Water damage in few spots around the hotel the most worrying was in the apartment we stayed in .
