I was travelling with a group of 8 and we could not fly out of Zanzibar. The verde hotel was very gracious and provided a great buffet breakfast. Particularly service oriented were these people Hafidh Soud Bakari Anjelina

Visited the hotel with my family Some great positives: - The staff is so helpful, professional and friendly..it definitely felt like home.A special thanks to Asad who drove the golf cart(went the extra mile to make our experience perfect) -Rooms are big and spacious.They are well cleaned and good aur condition -Quick service whenever we needed Some negatives/points that might make you choose another hotel: -No alcohol served in the hotel - The amenities though very clean are slightly old.example the pool floor/area and bathrooms -Its more of a work hotel.I would stay there if I had a conference in Zanzibar or something similar.As a tourist one day was more than enough..more days could be boring

We were a group of four staying in four single rooms for four nights, and our experience at Hotel Verde Zanzibar was exceptional. The property is clean, peaceful, and well-managed — a true eco-friendly haven. Special appreciation to Ally at the front desk, who ensured our check-in and check-out were handled seamlessly. His professionalism, efficiency, and warm welcome truly stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, excellent service, comfortable rooms, and a great team. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend Hotel Verde to anyone visiting Zanzibar!

We had a very good experience. Their food is so nice. We were warmly welcomed at the restaurant by Hafidh and he served us very well..

The hotel is great, very welcoming Cleaned and environmentally sound However it is located very far (about 1h30min) from what we call “pinterest” beaches. At the moment we came, the roads were in chaos due to roadworks and repairs. Overall, for those who just want to stay at the hotel, without really wanting to explore the city, it’s a great choice.

My last day was in Zanzibar was spent in Hotel Verde and I had a very quiet and smooth stay . Had a sea view room and it was stunning. They also had a small cab that take you from your room to the restaurant incase you don’t want to walk . Breakfast was lots of varieties . Really enjoyed my stay . It was only some minutes away from stone town . Love it there .
