Such an amazing property, had a small wedding there and it was beautiful

We were a large group in town for my brother’s funeral. My sister in law’s house was too small to entertain so many family members and friends and the McQueeney house was perfect. Only 10 of us stayed overnight but it couldn’t have been better. Close to the funeral in New Braunfels and close-ish to Fort Sam Houston. It was beautiful and comfortable and well appointed. This house far exceeded our expectations! Having such a large main area was wondeful for spending time with the group, but having each bedroom be so massive was nice for each family to have their own space for kids naps and bedtimes. There was a great space avaliable to set up kids toys and we appreciated the toys and gate/baby play pen we were able to put at the top of the stairs provided by the rental. The pots and pans were great quality for cooking. The outdoor spaces were truley amazing and so relaxing.The only thing was that we couldnt get to the water with the kids safely on the ladders because of how low the water level was. We enjoyed the dock for fishing and watching ducks and kayaks go by with the kids. The fire pit was great for smores! Overall it was an amazing stay and we hope to come back next year.

Family Reunion Spacious and comfortable for a large group, 21 of us, all ages. Really enjoyed having space to spend time with family. Listing is accurate, property clean, hosts responsive. The water was not swimmable at the time we were there. Things to improve - grass was too long to comfortably use the large yard for activities, the host tried to send gardeners out but they weren’t available in time, the water pressure in the first jack & jill on the left when facing down the hall was so low it was like a rain drizzle. The sliding bathroom door was so hard to open in close in that first bedroom on the left; important when sharing a bathroom. Parking was great, a/c and fans much appreciated.

Great Riverfront home! The home was really spacious for the amount of people we had. Rooms are very large, living and kitchen space is massive. The balcony is perfectly located looking over the back yard and river. Jessica, the owner was very communicative and was very quick to reply and help.

Great house for a large group. It was a clean large space for everyone to enjoy the lake.

GREAT PLACE TO BE We had a women’s ministry rest at Jessica’s, and she was so communicative with us the whole time! We had so much space to play games, do discussion, and we loved the outside even though it was chilly. We also loved that all the rooms were on the same floor. The kitchen was so well stocked and we were able to use the appliances without struggling.
