Hotels in Melbourne Central Business District, Melbourne

It is highly recommended to get the suite with the river view! The view from the window is absolutely gorgeous. The suite is huge, clean, and modern; I really have nothing to complain about regarding my stay. However, their reception closes at 8 PM. If you plan to check in late, you need to pre-fill their forms and other information, and you only receive the instructions for your keys later that evening. I found this to be inconvenient and unsettling. This was the only downside of my stay.

Would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Melbourne. Facilities: The facilities are modern and well-maintained. It was also the only hotel I've stayed at in Australia that provided toothbrushes and toothpaste, which was a pleasant surprise. Cleanliness: Our room was spacious, tidy, and impeccably clean. Location: The location is absolutely prime, right in the city center. It's incredibly convenient for exploring everything, and it's right next door to Chinatown. Service: The service was outstanding. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful.

Fantastic location in the middle of CBD with plenty of malls, shops and amenties within walking distance. Room space was good enough for 2 pax. No room slippers, toiletries provided. Check out time of 10am seems abit too early though.

I stayed at 3 hotels all near Flagstaff stations for this trip, just to try something new and compare. Excellent location and the Flagstaff garden is at the opposite. The Pegasus has a real kitchen and utensils since it's an apartment hotel. No view at all but it's ok for a night's stay. The bed is so soft but so as the Radisson and the Jazz hotel so I guess it's the standard?.. Staffs had reasonable service, but I overheard the guest in front of me checked out 30mins later than he should and the staff were not happy about it at all, like teacher talking to a misbehaved student. Overall it's price for money.

This is definitely a hotel I'd want to stay at again; check-in was super smooth. The room and bed were really small, but it's newly renovated and has everything you need, plus a nice city view from the window. The price was fantastic, and the location is super convenient – you can walk everywhere you want to go in the city. The only downside is that it's a bit close to the train tracks, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. The air conditioning kept showing errors and wasn't working very well.

Great location, near to southern Cross Station. Arrived early before check-in time, Angie was helpful to find me a room. I was also able to store my luggage after checking out

The room was alright, it looks like in the actual photo. The kettle mouth was dirty, so we didnt use it. The lightning wasn'r bright, so it was hard for me to use the make up. They need to replaced the lights to a brighter light bulb. The first night we stayed there we asked the staff for a new towles, when we returned the room was made so that was good. The 2nd night we stayed there my partner asked the receptionist if we could get a new towles, when we came back from our outting the room wasn't being made and we were very dissapointed. Anyway, overall was ok. Only the location was good cos it was in the central of the city.

Fantastic hotel , great location , very clean , comfortable rooms and very good value The only criticism is that the bathroom was a little small  Will definitely be staying again

Typical sterile boring but very functional Hotel. Not much difference in many of these types of hotels dotted around the city. It is purely there to do what it advertisers to do which is provide a comfortable night accommodation but has about as much excitement and spark as my 95-year-old grandfather. 👴…. It’s as boring as you would expect it to be sitting off the edge of the city. however, the rooms were very clean and the bed comfortable so no complaints in that respect. I would definitely stay here again if I needed a night accommodation purely for a night accommodation.  unfortunately this is where hotels are heading in this functional world of ours. Boring but functional. If there was a pod hotel in Melbourne, I would definitely stay there instead of here as at least a pod hotel will have a travel vibe to it. 

The location is fantastic, located by the Darling Harbour, you can reach the Aquarium and Darling Harbour within 3-5 minutes. You can also access Sydney CBD (QVB etc.) easily. For the staff, they are super friendly and helpful. Despite I didn’t request a daily room cleaning service, they tidied my room every day. If you don’t want to have such service, you can definitely require not to too. The view of my room is amazing, you can enjoy the view of Darling Harbour. And one more thing which I found quite important is that the room has a perfect soundproof. Since it’s winter in August, it’s quite cold in Sydney. The lobby has very warm temperature and cozy vibe. However, the room’s air conditioning didn’t provide a warm temperature that I satisfied, the room temperature remains between 18-20 °C during our stay, it would be perfect if it’s like 23-25 °C. And this was the only down side I can think of, other than that, I had a perfect stay!
