Ibis Properties in Melbourne

The room itself was a bit small, and the facilities definitely showed their age, quite outdated. However, considering it's almost the Christmas peak season, paying just over 500 RMB a night for this, the value for money is truly unbeatable. Plus, the main reason I chose this place is that many day tour meeting points are right at this hotel, making morning departures incredibly convenient – no need to wake up early and search for directions. It's quite suitable for tourists who are out early and back late, enjoying activities.

Hotel front desk staffs were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed talking to them. Hotel room is just perfect for a Solo traveller in terms of room size, facilities, lighting, etc. I love the room interior. It looks bright and motivating. Lighting is bright which I always prefer and I have the option to switch off some lights if I want it a bit darker before sleeping. Toilet looks compact but there is certainly enough space to take shower and do other stuff. There is a sofa which makes the room look more classy. The bed, pillow and sofa are very comfortable. I was able to adjust the Aircon and keep myself warm and comfortable. In room dining service was excellent. I ordered a vegetarian dish and it was tasty. Hotel is conveniently situated within CBD and I am able to walk over to wherever I want or take tram and travel around the city. I love this hotel and I will stay in this hotel again when I revisit Melbourne in the coming months.

We booked this hotel for two nights as we wanted to visit attraction closer to Puffin Train. The location is good, it's within walking distance to a shopping mall, and there are many food varieties there. I had a running nose there, maybe the bed that I slept was very close to the window or wall. We had to pay AU$ 20 per day for the parking there, to me is reasonable, just to take it into account when you book the hotel with your own vehicle. Overall, it's a pleasant experience staying there.
