Find a better hotel
First room I was assigned, the door was a struggle just to get into the room, like I had to put my shoulder into the door to gain entry. The door did not close but had to “work itself” closed. Then, walking in immediately, I noticed wallpaper in the bathroom was coming off the wall and covered in mold, and someone had used the bathroom prior to my check-in. I immediately went back to reception and was assigned a different room. This one was okay but not by much. I think Crowne Plaza leadership should look at the quality of their rooms… the toilet, plumbing, wall outlets, etc. felt like I checked into a motel that charges by the hour. Also, this hotel is right by the highway, so get the pleasure of hearing every car, semi-truck, or police chase that will make sleeping a joke.
For context, I stayed at the Sheraton across the street earlier this year and had a completely different experience.
The only positive experience staying at this hotel was that the staff was very friendly.
