Hampton Inn & Suites Memphis East

Hotel was pretty basic in terms of amenities. Cleanliness was not their strong suit- literally dust and small hairs on our bathroom light fixtures. You have to ask for housekeeping -it’s not automatic-and we found ourselves frequenting the front desk for fresh plastic cups, coffee pods and fresh washcloths. Trash built up in the room from carry out. TV shows “froze” every few minutes for several seconds. Wi-fi worked well. AC worked well. Hallway carpets simply grungy with dirt and stains. Breakfast was standard and ok. Didn’t use the pool or workout room. If I paid $85-100/night I would’ve been satisfied. $170/night (before taxes) is way overpriced for this facility.

We booked this extended stay at the last minute and the accommodate my family. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and it was quite at night. Only thing that didn’t work in our room was the smoke detector is was totally missing which we reported and on the second day someone was put out on the curb with all their belongings. Other than that we would definitely stay at this location again

My husband and I stayed there last week. Although our stay wasn't all that pleasant, Calvin and Danielle went above the call of duty. Calvin handled every request in timely manner. He was so sweet. There were a couple other married couples that was there also. We all appreciated Calvin's smile and kindness. This type of customer service can outshine a few inconveniences. We will be returning and recommending this property to the wives club that we are a part of. PLEASE make sure you tell Calvin that Mrs. Thomas says hello and good luck with everything.

The hotel is on the popular road, diagonally opposite is McDonald's. It is not far from Macy's and other shopping malls. The hotel is very easy to find. The front desk is very enthusiastic. There was no way to add another room, but the front desk was very good. I said that I didn't book the room because of the unclear writing, so I gave the first room for the first night free of charge. The rooms with two beds and a king size bed are very high, comfortable and spacious. The hotel breakfast is American breakfast, except for the oatmeal, it is cold, but it is also very good, and the overall feeling is still good. New to Memphis recommended!

According to local friends, the area where this hotel is located is relatively safe. Hotel occupancy is very low, breakfast with coffee and some cookies and other snacks. In the past few years, the unit price of hotels in the United States has risen sharply. Before 19 years, hotels like holiday inn cost less than 100 dollars a day. This one is slightly lower than the holiday inn.
