Hotel Morgana

The hotel requires some improvements, starting from a fundamental feature: cleaning. This is, I must say, very disappointing in Switzerland, where you can find very different hotel standards, but almost always they have in common the fact of being clean. Starting from the staircase leading to the room on the floors ( old and slippery carpet), then also in the room: there were ants walking on the floor near the window, cobwebs on the legs of the bed, the toilet seat was not well cleaned and was almost broken, the dispenser for hair and body soap in the shower was also broken, I found a hole in the towel… The price is reasonable and therefore it may attract a lot of customers ( also families with kids because there is a pool that strangely is not open in the morning) , but value for money starts from the cleaning…. Moving to breakfast experience: reasonably decent variety of options ( also a few gluten free snacks), but horrible coffee ( automatic dispenser) and again lack of care: when I told the waiter that I had found a long black hair in the yogurt bowl, the person simply removed the hair and left the same bowl available on the buffet….🤦‍♀️

Svensson Family Roadtrip We stayed one night here during our roadtrip through Italy and Switzerland. A very nice family hotel with modern rooms, great beds and breakfast. Nice, friendly and service-minded staff.

Great last minute booking for a one night stay with family. For the price everything was great

Here the summary of our poor experience: - we booked a double room through *********** from Saturday 3.6. until Sunday 4.6. - the room is available as follow: check-in from 4PM (!) and check-out at 10 AM (!) - arrived at 11 AM as of Saturday 3.6., we asked to leave our luggage at the hotel before our checking’ time. According to the hotel’s employee we could leave our luggage unattended at the reception, however no separate room (locked) available for luggage. - we arrived back at Morgana Hotel at 4PM (!) for the check-in, but surprisingly the HOTEL CANCELLED our booking through ***********. We did not ask to cancel our booking, but the Hotel Morgana decided to put ourselves out of the hotel! - I contacted the hotel by phone and by email to understand the reasons, unfortunately NO explanation provided! The hotel was not in overbooking and rooms were still available on ***********! The hotel decided that they did not want us as guests! No explanations provided. Is it not a discrimination in Switzerland to refuse clients? I travel a lot for work purposes and I spent 3 months every year in hotels in Switzerland and abroad, but I never had such a poor treatment. The hotel is clearly not interested to work with clients. My strong suggestion is to stay away and prefers other hotels nearby. Stay away.

This is the first time I am not satisfied with a hotel that I have booked from HHotels.com.Hotel personnell was not polite, especially the lady working at breakfast service is so rude. She is aggressive and shouting to guests. There was no kettle in the room. I have requested to fill my thermos with hot water , lady was rude to me. My observation is , her behavior was rude to all guests. Of course I will never stay in this hotel again.

Staff Behaviour. I had something to say about the amount of money the property desired as a guarantee. It was not evident in the booking documents, and the property will give me back the amount in thirty days. Instead of explaining the details and clearing the matter, the staff became rude. This was so unpleasant. Service was sufficient Facilities ok and clearness ok. Acceptable Breakfast Goof location
