Decent hotel in an amazing area with lots of walks and nice beaches. Hotel is clean and tidy staff are helpful and friendly but would recommend getting inflatable pillows as the pillows are rubbish. Rooms are big and decent size balcony. Area is amazing great walks and views although a little isolated from other villages was a hour walk to next resort and taxi is about 30 euro. Plenty of food avaliable although can get a little repetitive would recommend St Thomas restaurant 5 min walk down road. Only problem is you have to pay for most cocktails and spirits and if your watching entertainment it's a fair walk back to the bar. Entertainment is really good some of best I've seen and animation team work hard although the term chicken nugget is thrown around alot not sure if they realise the term it's used in ( cheap white meat) Airport is disorganised we arrived there to be out in a big queue by tui and after 20 mins it had lost shape and purpose and people.were que jumping which left us only 10 mins to get through check in and security and to the gate Would deffo recommend and return

We arrived greeted by lovely staff on reception and check in was easy and we’re shown straight to our apartment. The rooms were immaculately clean and large. We were in room 60 with a view of the garden sun late afternoon on the balcony. My daughter in 160 with beautiful views of the sea. Entertainment was very good and a lot of activities on through the day. Mara was just amazing what an asset. Warm, friendly and full of fun❤️🥳 We looked forward to seeing her every day. The restaurant had plenty of choices the fresh made pizzas were very good. Staff in restaurants and bars were happy and helpful. Always greeted with a smile. The only negative we had was there are a lot of fly’s around the food. There are things to do for all the family. We had lovely walks along the beach every day which was located through a gate at the back of the apartments. We will definitely return. Thank you lord Nelson Apartments for a wonderful time. 🌞🌴

Rooms - very clean - maids do a really good job ! Other than having some mould on the ceiling and the curtains we have no complaints - the rooms used to be apartments so are very spacious. Food - not loads of choice but there is always something to eat (not sure what is available for kids ) restaurant manager and staff are amazing and very polite and helpful Reception staff are not particularly helpful and do not give out much information on arrival This hotel is advertised as all inclusive but you have to pay for a safe (not had to do this since the eighties ! And also have to pay for many spirits and cocktails which are expensive so cheaper to pop over to the supermarket and buy your own from there Evening entertainment doesn’t start until 10pm and is quite a small area, away from the bar and toilets The beach behind the hotel is absolutely stunning - sunbeds are 10 euro each for the day including an umbrella The big issue with this hotel is the pool area it is much smaller than it looks online and there isn’t a lot of room around it The management of this hotel really need to get the pool cleaned and there is algae around the edge which is disgusting and could easily be cleaned by just giving it a wipe over ! I think this hotel has potential but need a few issues resolved

So no complaints from us - rooms super clean and if u wanted, were cleaned every day if u leave the hanger on your door. Clean towels provided if you left your old ones on the floor. Staff were excellent, remember they work super long hours but always had a smile, chefs super friendly and loads of hot food. You could literally eat all day - snack bar in the afternoon had hot dogs and burgers which my daughters waited on every day. Hotel is so close to the beautiful beach that you could actually get a spot on the beach and come back and forth with your drink! Entertainment crew for the younger kids were excellent- shout out to Peter - no idea where he gets his energy from! Would we go back? 100% yes!

Booked AI through TUI. Stayed at this hotel for a week as an elderly but well travelled couple. The transfer time was no way near the quoted 20 minutes and took about an hour. Room was a 2nd floor two roomed apartment with limited sea view. The room was showing signs of needing a refurb but kept very clean and well serviced throughout our stay. The hotel itself is again showing signs of wear and tear but kept very clean and tidy throughout. Food at the hotel was more than acceptable and you will certainly not go hungry. Staff were all very friendly. The one gripe that we had was severe lack of sunbeds and more especially umbrella's although there was enough space around the pool to take another 50 or so sunbeds. I'm afraid that other people staying at the hotel did not help this situation by reserving sunbeds from first light and worse still then not using them. This resulted in other guests having to pay to use the beach facilities. All in all we enjoyed our stay but would not want to stay longer than a week and would not return without the lack of sunbeds and brollies being sorted out.

We had a bit of a mixed stay, we started our holiday 17th May and it was clear the hotel was still finding its feet, we found the food good lots of choice, but they hadn't figured out the best layout and things were moved around alot. The labelling of food got better throughout ur stay. For the first 5 days we had no pool bar so had to go back and forth to the main bar, not a big issue but it's not what was advertised. When the pool bar opened its a little van and again they had teething problems with the soft drinks so we didn't get the full benefit. The entertainment in the evening is not in the best place and it hs no bar nearby.. the van could dobwith moving to the side, and opening for evening, as it was a nightmare carrying drinks at night out to the entertainment. However that being said we enjoyed the entertainment and having stayed previously in the resort at other hotels, drfinatelyvthe best entertainment we've had. Now the worst bit we encountered was the reception.. upon check in it seemed rushed, we weren't even part of a big queue, but no welcome info, just pointed in the direction to our room, no info about meals drinks/ kids club, just band in your arm and find your own way. We were definately rushed and then 2 days before we left ordered down to reception bring told we had to give them our personal info email, mobile for them to give to the police!! A frustrating 30 minute conversation transpired it was for the tourist tax and they had forgotten to take our details, we are very unproblematic guests, never complain but the receptionist was very offhand and abrupt as if we'd done something wrong rather than then not checking us in correctly. We had a further issue with reception when we won the bingo and had to collect our winnings.. ordering us to sign a document saying we had received 250 euros when we had 90?? This was quite unpleasant, and it's a shame as the entire rest of the team were faultless from the cleaners to the waiters who oozed customer service. Its possibly a training / language barrier and partly our fault aswell for not speaking good Spanish. Anyway the rest of the holiday and parts were amazing, my 6 year old had the "best holiday of his life" and the shy unsocial boy from home was replaced with a karaoke singing, dancing happy boy. The entertainment team make this place, and they make the kids feel special. The resort is beautiful, we've been before. I honestly believe our negatives were teething problems, as it had just been reopened under tui for the English Market. We would definitely return as I believe they will be soon up to 5 star.

The hotel was very clean and tidy, Peter from the animation team was so good with the kids and always made effort going round talking to the guest. Both me and my mum are vegetarian and there’s multiple choices each night and the food itself is normal all inclusive food. All the staff are friendly and the beach and views are beautiful. The bad reviews really do not reflect this hotel and are unfair. We were a party of 4 and were all happy with the holiday.
