我們是去Mercusburg訪校，這家民宿離得近就定了，民宿很大很氣派，很古樸的裝修風格，喜歡拍照的朋友可以帶上幾套服裝拍拍拍，外圍花園很美，小鎮子也很漂亮。圖片是我們早餐餐廳一角。

房間非常棒！環境優美！每晚提前交第二天早餐的order，非常方便，早餐很好吃！位置也非常便利，離學校很近。

My husband and I have lived in the Mercersburg area for about 6 years and we decided to go to the Inn for breakfast on a lazy fall morning. We were pleasantly greeted with the beauty of the surroundings privately tucked into the landscape and by the server, Corey, who was attentive to just the right degree. The breakfast of French toast, eggs, bacon and toast was excellently prepared and served on a properly warmed plate. The French toast was a delicate balance between the soft soufflé of the eggs and the perfectly caramelized crust covered with just a sprinkle of confectioners sugar which was delightfully just the right amount of sweet. My only complaint is that I did not find this delightful Inn six years earlier. I won’t wait another six years to enjoy an evening dinner.

We had a great stay and overall a good experience staying here. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. The room was nice, pretty comfortable and overall had everything we needed. We stayed in one of the rooms in the carriage house. The shared kitchen is a little odd and could be much nicer with some focused attention. We didn't need the space so it wasn't much of a detractor for us but if you plan on using it it's not really stocked. We ate dinner one night and had two breakfasts while staying. The dinner was pretty good, especially considering the reasonable prices. Both breakfasts were really good with several options to choose from, and the service was nice as well. Overall a good experience and we would stay here again.

We recently booked this inn for a couples weekend. The innkeepers try to make one feel at home. We appreciated the little touches like cookies when we arrived and a little goody to-go bag when we checked out. The inn is beautiful. The architecture is magnificent. We know there is a great deal of upkeep on a building like that and we appreciate their efforts to preserve it. Our experience might have been different if we had stayed in the inn itself, but we booked a room in the carriage house. If we had known there was no inside entrance to the second floor, we would not have made reservations there. Please see the picture of the steps we had to traverse to access our room. We want to let other travelers know of these steps. Our room was comfortable. There is a window air conditioning unit which was a bit noisy, but we were provided with earplugs. Also, we felt like our bed sloped, so we slept with our heads at the foot of the bed. We took our breakfast daily in the inn, and it was very good. We sampled the quiche, scrambled eggs, and French toast custard. Our server was attentive. Overall, we would be able to give our stay a better rating perhaps if our accommodations had been in the inn instead of the carriage house.

Wedding venue with out of state guests. All were extremely impressed with the venue, the hospitality, the food and the staff. Perfect.

Very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean room. We stayed on the third floor of this huge building. There is no lift so don’t overpack if you choose the upper floor. The outside temperature was blistery hot when we were there and the portable fan in the closet was extremely useful. We were greeted with two bottles of water and departed with a goodie bag for the road. Breakfast was delicious. Checkout was 11am. During our stay the restaurant and tavern were closed so we went to the James Buchanan Hotel restaurant for a surprisingly great meal. We would definitely return to both of those places.

The Inn was lovely. Our room was extremely comfortable. I slept like a baby - really comfortable bed, linens and pillows. However, my husband had opened the window and woke up due the morning traffic noise. My advice is turn on the air conditioner in the room to ensure a good night's sleep. My sea bass dinner was truly delectable. Others raved about their duck and scallop dinners. My husband was disappointed with his pasta meal but I am honestly surprised that he ordered it, considering he makes pasta from scratch so his expectation from a non-Italian restaurant was very high. The creme brulee was over the top delicious. Friendly staff. Fascinating history - a turn of the century inn with original Tiffany fixtures as well as period pieces from the original family. Great location. The porches, library, bar, and game room provided lots of space to unwind, relax. and enjoy conversations with friends. Sweet departure bag was a surprising treat. Thank you!

Second time here. We were once again cycling The Western Maryland Rail Trail. This beautiful inn is just over the border in PA. Lovely place. This time we had room 10 on the 3rd floor. Beautiful room with period furniture and very comfy bed. Tomi, the innkeeper graciously let us store our bikes in the back hall. The location is also perfect to ski at Whietail so this will be our “ go to” for ski season. Had dinner in Byron’s dining room which was every bit as good as our first experience. They even made me a gluten free waffle at breakfast. Ramsey was our server at breakfast. A sweetheart. Lots of fun playing pool in the game room after dinner.

I can’t say enough good things about this b&b. I used self check in as I arrived late and filled out my breakfast preferences before heading to my room. Bet of airbnb & hotel rolled into one. The road can be a little loud, but no worries, they have ear plugs by the bed. I was sent on my way with a goodie bag! That is the best! And on top of it all, I left my phone charger, she found it and mailed it back to me on her dime. 5 Stars is not enough!

I surprised my husband with an overnight stay here for his 35th birthday and it was a wonderful experience. The room was beautiful, the personal touches like the complementary box of chocolates and departing gift bag were incredibly thoughtful, and the included breakfast was delicious (highly recommend the spinach quiche!). We will be back- thanks for the exceptional hospitality Tomi, Steven. 10/10 recommend!
