The place is nice but there are lots of disturbances from the residents so you don't sleep well 🙏

Had booked to stay here on *********** but became wary after reading recent negative reviews here. Believe them. We booked the best room available but were still shocked on arrival and stayed elsewhere (Adisthana Hotel down the road, similarly priced and pleasant). The room really was tiny with a ramshackle AC unit and fan, utilitarian beds and a small basic en suite; not even room to unpack two sets of luggage. The seating area outside each room was a nice touch and the small pool appeared decent enough. But the place had the feel of a basic backpacker option from 40 years ago that hadn't updated and had been overtaken by plentiful much better and similarly priced places nearby. The two staff that were there when we arrived were doing their best despite their limited english, and were quite understanding when we explained why we were leaving. Don't mar your stay in this pleasant and likeable city with this terrible choice of accommodation.
