"The location is 5 minutes walk from the beach, very convenient. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The environment of the hotel is very elegant. We stayed in the middle of the night. We should temporarily cancel another reservation. I quickly found the Mermaid Hotel on Ctrip.com. Price, location, service, environment, sanitation are all good. "Great location for tram and shops. Rooms are clean and cozy, fine for a nights stop over. Can hear a lot of outside noise from rooms next door and above and stairs. Was refused a refund to check out a day early when requested for personal reasons. Staff are friendly considering."

"Really enjoyed my stay. Francs JR pizza is a short walk and an excellent place. Motel is just 5min walk to the beach, amazing sunrises. The rooms come well equipped with kitchen utensils including toaster kettle, cutlery - all are Clean. Air Con/Heating works great. Shower works well and pumps out hot water when needed. The rooms and bathroom are well. Reception only operates between 2pm and 5pm but there are early check in and late check out boxes. They notifiy you via your booking agency or email how to check in out of hours. There is a pool - the staff are maintaing and cleaning everyday."

"A great place for family fun, especially with younger kids. The big water slide pool was under maintenance during our stay so we were restricted to a single slide pool which was still fun but got very busy at times. We weren't told of the shutdown of the bigger water slide pool. Some activities are charged separately to the hotel booking which added unexpected expense. The room was nice with facilities typically found in apartments. There was no room cleaning or restocking of toiletries etc. You could purchase additional stock at the main desk or buy elsewhere. It is a huge complex and despite maps and directions from staff, was difficult to find your way to facilities at the other end of the complex due to the maze of walkways and lack of signage. In our case, we did not locate the cafe or kids play ground and cinema which were apparently located at the other end of the complex. The gardens are nice and well maintained and staff were pleasant. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"The apartment was brand new, with high ceilings and all the furniture was super new, clean, and very fresh. We loved everything inside. But we had a problem with check-in. We booked in the morning and arrived around 6 PM, but we hadn't received any check-in instructions. The reception is open a couple of hours a day. We ended up calling for 40 minutes, paying a deposit, and then couldn't get in. It was incredibly inconvenient."

"The apartment was excellent. It offered a nice chill area to relax in the loungeroom, a bedroom with a great bed. The bathroom was suitable and the kitchen was a big bonus. The washer and dryer also came in handy. My favourite part was the secure off-street basement parking. It took the hassle away from having to find a parking spot each evening."
