Learned my lesson. In fairness to the brand, I’ve stayed at other Motel6 before but never had a bad experience up until this one. Room smelled like smoke as soon as I opened the door. There’s “No Smoking within 20 feet” signs at every door but there’s also cigarette butt receptacles right outside 🤷♂️. My original room had what sounded like a big dog next door that was barking the entire time I was in the room so I requested to be transferred. The replacement room was a little better but after a while, the smell of smoke was present again. Could not get any sleep because of the smell. Thank goodness we only had a night to spend there.
I immediately cancelled my next Motel6 booking and did not want to take the chance again. There were plenty of parking, may be the only good thing.
