What a delightful little oasis in the middle of CDMX. The gardens were beautiful, my room was very comfortable (perfect bed, roomy and clean bathroom and many glass bottles of water - so appreciated!). Breakfast was yummy and they were able to accommodate my vegetarian needs without issue. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy and safe to walk to many sites, restaurants and cafes from here too. I will stay here again!

if you have low to no expectations this is the place for you. cute spot in great location. if you don’t have questions or need anything from the staff, this would be a good choice. definitely overpriced for what you get.

What a huge disappointment! The owner is rude, not nice, and very aggressive. First time ever writing a review. The staff is not friendly. The staff is not helpful and hardly feels like a guest house. They made it very uncomfortable as if I was staying at their house and in their way. Could have stayed anywhere but picked this cute little boutique hotel in a great area. Would never recommend this place to anyone. The 4 room hotel is under construction to redo the 5 original rooms and had construction workers in and out all day. Loud machinery and not enjoyable. Disappointed is an understatement.

Wonderful place to stay in Mexico City. Conveniently located within walking distance to several attractions, restaurants, and bars. A delicious, fresh breakfast is provided each morning and a great daily cocktail hour in the courtyard. The staff were all extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. Also, the rooms are stunning!

I could go on forever about this wonderful guest house. I was traveling with my adult daughter and from the moment we arrived we were treated with the most incredible service. We were spending a week in Mexico city and having Ignacia as our home base was a treat. We usually love to book Airbnb's as we love to feel at home. I have to say that this was so intimate and comfortable and beyond expectation. The common room was an amazing place to read a book or have one of their complimentary cocktails, The rooftop firepit and hot tub were amazing, The breakfast that we mostly ate on our balcony was an incredible mix of fresh fruit, Baked goods and a different hot Mexican dish every morning. We could not believe how attentive the entire staff especially Magda and Diego were. They answered all of our questions with what felt like a curated guide. We stayed in the room Balcony 1 on the second floor and the design features were stunning. The last thing that I can say is after full days of walking and eating our way around Mexico city resting our bodies on the most comfortable beds and bedding was exactly what we needed. Thank you so much.

My partner and I stayed at Ignacia for our wedding weekend and absolutely loved the hotel and its staff. From the second we walked in we were so taken aback by the beautiful interior design. There is so much charm in the interior design which perflect reflects the unique character of Mexico City. A standout highlight was the warm and welcoming staff, particularly Magda, who we believe to be the general manager. She treated us with so much care and attention, making us feel like guests in her own home. She was so understanding of all the vendors that were coming and going throughout the weekend and made our stay so enjoyable. The day after our wedding we were even treated to a delicious chocolate cake to congratulate us, which was such a thoughtful gesture. After late-night festivities, we’d always be greeted by Gilberto, who always had a huge smile on his face and was so kind-hearted. Lastly, we cannot forget to mention the breakfasts. They were unbelievably delicious and we were blown away by the culinary talent of the chefs. The presentation of breakfast and the flavors in it are something we’ll never forget and were the perfect start to our days. Overall, our time at Ignacia was a dream and made our wedding weekend everything we wanted it to be!

The Ignacia Guest House is a gorgeously designed space. The rooms can be a bit on the smaller side, but the numerous common areas more than make up for it. The outdoor courtyard and colorful living room are seriously Instagram worthy. The breakfast is simple (hot dish, yogurt, seasonal fruit, freshly baked pastries, granola, and coffee/ tea), but SUPER tasty. The hot dish changes every morning and we were never disappointed. The daily happy hour gives you a chance to meet other guests over yummy cocktails and snacks. The location is perfect. It’s got a safe, relaxing neighborhood feel and there are lots of places to enjoy within walking distance. Service was outstanding. Diego is an amazingly warm and kind concierge. We chatted everyday and he gave great restaurant recommendations. Magda was equally helpful with providing a gluten-free breakfast and getting our laundry done during the week we were there. This is a perfect place to stay for those looking for something unique and a place to get to know the locals and their fellow travelers. We will definitely be back!

We did not end up staying at this hotel (we chose to stay in another part of CDMX instead, just a change based on location). However, I wanted to give Ignacia Guest House 5 stars based on their customer service alone. When I had initially booked this hotel, they made contact with me right away to see if there was anything we needed. Both Gina and Diego were so helpful and quick to respond to questions, often responding within minutes! I can only imagine that their excellent customer service would have extended to our stay. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. But I think the best part of Ignacia is their service and staff. The staff was kind, helpful and incredibly hospitable. Next time we are back in Mexico City, we will be staying at Ignacia.
