The staff has been very nice, my room was ready and very clean. They messaged me with codes information ans a welcome message before I expected. The area is very convenient, pleasant, and safe. The bed was very comfortable.

The initial communication with the hotel was okay. We arrived late, and they promptly sent us the electronic key information, which was helpful. However, after that, responses from the staff became very slow. One major issue that ruined my experience was the cleanliness of the room. I checked in late at night only to find that the bathroom was not clean. The toilet had obvious signs of use from previous guests, which was very disturbing. Cleanliness—especially of the bed and bathroom—is the most basic expectation in any hotel, and this situation made me feel like I was using a public restroom. I informed the staff about this immediately, but the issue was only addressed two days later. If it weren’t for this, I would have given a much better review. Please make sure rooms are properly cleaned and checked before new guests arrive.

Mixed review Very nice location. Close to many nice restaurants as well as the Chapultepec Castle, Museum of Anthropology and other nice finds. The hotel was clean and the housekeeping was good but lacked in a couple of key areas. I asked a couple of questions (how to operate the safe and where the key was to get to the outdoor patio). I got no response, even after staying for 4 nights. The other issue was the shower area. The water didn’t drain, leaving a good sized stagnant puddle for the next user. The puddle was only cleaned by housekeeping the following day.

Good stay! The hotel itself was great and the staff were super friendly. The location is excellent — really close to everything. The only thing that threw us off at first was the entrance to the building. There was a bucket right by the front door, which gave us a bit of a bad first impression. Even though the hotel is on the top floor and separate from the rest of the building, it would be great if a bit more attention was paid to the overall entrance and common areas. Other than that, we had a good stay.

Cool and nice place in a great area Great place next to several restaurants and bars. Has all the amenities of a hotel room but is more like a small apartment. Clean and nice.

The centerpiece of any hotel is the bed and your ability to rest comfortably. I guess the owner is beyond cheap, because our mattress was probably last changed in the 1970s: it had more undulations than corrugated cardboard. We missed our last day of seeing museums because we were so contracted into knots from the wretched excuse for a mattress that we had - we request a different room but they were booked up. Witha solitary day's revenue they could update that mattress, which is why I presume the owner a miserable penny pincher, or, peso pincher as it were... To add to the inability to sleep comfortably, Taco Juan is a taco stand directly in front of the hotel, but they identify as a nightclub, so, we were left to suffer their garbage music until 2am each night.

This hotel is well located in the beautiful and safe neighbourhood of Polanco, the staff are very helpful, and the price is reasonable. The beds are super comfortable and the small kitchen is a terrific convenience. However a few cautions to be aware of: Dangerous steps INSIDE the room are not marked and are a hazard for falling, especially while going to the washroom during the night. My friends had a different room design, but also had indoor steps. Bring your own caution striped tape. Noise level - My room faced Calle President Masyruk which had loud street noise. Friends had a room facing the back - much more quiet. If sensitive to street noise, I would recommend asking for a quiet room. No security bolt on the door - bring your own. All in all, an excellent choice with cautions above.
