Hotel staff very nice and courteous, helpful
Rooms were large, modernly furnished and, above all, clean. It was cleaned every day and beds were made. However, there was no water in the room.
It's easy to get anywhere from there, a very good starting point. Unfortunately it's just a bit noisy because the hotel is in the middle of it. If you want to see Miami life, you definitely have to go there

Perfect location. Good deco in rooms but could do with refurbishing the bathrooms and communal area.
I appreciate the price of the rooms reflect the above needed improvement.

Everything so wonderful, clean and pretty. Staff so pleasant, helpful and polite. Restaurant food very good. Location terrific and close to beach. Would visit again for sure.

They waited for me to arrive and then, at check-in, added a $549.50 charge, which they claimed was to cover “incidentals and fees.” They also said that $325 of that would be refunded after I checked out…it has not been refunded. SCAM hotel! Then the room they gave me (on second floor) wasn’t even cleaned from the previous occupant (dirty towels on the floor bed clearly unmade/slept in, trash etc), so I had to drag my luggage back down to the lobby (no elevator btw) just to be sent to a different room, but now on the third floor. My 6 night stay cost me $1386.07 from ******* plus $549.50, which come out to $322.59/night! NEVER AGAIN! ******* needs to ban them!

Called @7am asked for early check in - was told not a problem - sure enough it was when I got there , then on top of that the room smelled really bad and was told sold out can’t help - well the night manger asked to come to my room and he smelled it and shrugged his shoulders - attention to detail and lack of communication is not in there wheel house - and the restaurant- don’t bother unless you want cold food and a long wait

The building looked nice. The Deluxe room 107 was awful! It was extremely dark, we had no views and one window was frosted over and the other was covered by the headboard so you could not open the blinds. It also looked onto a dirty alleyway when I did attempt to look through the blinds. We had a very noisy generator or air conditioning unit outside the window which was extremely noisy and woke us up during the night. It was also difficult to get to the entrance to the hotel as it was so noisy and busy with food being served at the entrance terrace and staff standing on entrance stairs.

Check in went very smoothly. Except for the Key not working when I got to the 3rd floor. Had to have the lady at the desk, reset it 2x. The elevator at the Waldorf is very tiny. The carpet on the stairs could be cleaned or replaced with something different, as it was a bit dingy. The room was nice and clean. I had no problems. I am not used to staying in small rooms like this, so on the 3rd day, I was ready to check out, but not ready to leave the area. That is me, just being me though. Overall, I enjoyed the stay. The staff was very nice. I would go back again but stay in a bigger room.

When we walked in - I first noticed part of a weave laying in the floor. (It stayed through the evening). Our room was on the back of the elevator which was used through the night. (It was likely built in the 30s with the building- super loud) Street is very loud/busy so if you’re looking for a peaceful/quiet sleep this is not the place. Pics on listing are extremely inaccurate. Whoever handles their marketing is a genius.
