We arrived at this hotel early morning after being on a cruise. We were checked in very quickly and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. our room wasn’t ready which we did expect, they put our luggage in storage and gave us towel cards so we could use the pool and sunbeds, so we got changed into swimwear and had a look around, the towel guy looked a bit miserable and wasn’t very helpful and looked like he really didn’t want to be there. We sat for a few minutes and decided to move elsewhere. We found another pool a few floors up and just used the stairway. It was quite pleasant up there. The pool was nice and was heated. The following day we decided to take out the free bikes. Which we thought would be very straightforward but it wasn’t, again the towel/pool man wasn’t very helpful, we had to down load an app, which our phones didn’t seem to like, then scan a bar code, we asked for help but he was useless. We then went back to the room to see if there was another way to sort out the app. Eventually we got it all sorted and returned back to the bikes. There was only 2 bikes there. After us scanning and messing about trying to get these bikes out of the rack, the man watching us for about 10 minutes then said ah those bikes don’t work 😫😡. So we just went for a walk. When we came back a few more bikes had been returned. We eventually got out on the bikes and went up on the coast road which was great, very busy with walkers and people running and biking, but we had a lovely time. They need an easier system for using these bikes especially if you are not from the USA. We had a lovely room overlooking the sea. An ocean view deluxe room on the 9th floor, it was very spacious and had a very large balcony. The beds very nice but confortable and the shower was huge. We had a great nights sleep. But on the 2nd night we had a large family next door and you could hear everything through the walls. The Parents had a massive argument that went on for hours, we just turned our television up louder then eventually fell asleep, but unfortunately they were up very early the next morning and were so loud shouting at each other my husband had to knock on the wall and tell them to shut up. The hotel itself is lovely to walk into, the reception area and seating are all lovely but around the pools and public areas this hotel definitely needs some updating
