Venezia Hotel by at Mine Hospitality

Thank you for ruining my vacation and my mood. I deeply regret choosing this hotel it was an absolute nightmare. First of all, the photos are completely misleading. None of what you see in those pictures exists. The worst part is that as soon as I stepped into the lobby, there was a café attached with an awful smell, plus dirt everywhere. I won’t even start on the room on day one, it had a strange odor. On day two, when it rained, water leaked through the window I was shocked. I was extremely disappointed, and by the last days two days housekeeping never showed up. No towels, no sheets replaced. Instead of fixing the leak, they just put a towel at the window. It was ridiculous and upsetting given what I paid. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone don’t trust the photos, and please avoid it. I’ll never choose this hotel again it’s the worst hotel experience of my life. To add to this, on the second floor of the hotel, they made a shared restroom for the café downstairs. So, all the café visitors from the first floor come up to the second floor to use the restroom and that’s where the guest rooms are! I’ve never seen anything like this. I just want to emphasize that while the photos looked nice, it all turned out to be fake. What’s also surprising is that on Monday yes, I know it was a holiday there was no reception at all. That’s very strange. The one tiny positive I can mention is that the receptionist guy on the first day was friendly.

This place is horrible! It's better to sleep on the street than in this hotel. The hotel and the room is very very very dirty. Like, everything is really dirty, starting from the carpets in the lobby and the room, walls in the room with big dust pieces that were never cleaned, AC with a smell of black mold, ants in the room, dirty curtains, windows and everything else you could think off. The hotel doesn't provide a cleaning service, only changing towels and sheets if you request it. However, it took them 3 days to do it, and only after multiple conversations. They respond and give promises very quickly, but never do what they say. And even after coming to our room and knowing about the situation with cleanliness, they didn't make a deep cleaning. See the photos, it's AFTER the cleaning service. We needed to find another hotel 2 nights before the check-out date, because it was simply impossible to stay, sleep and breath normally. I'm a frequent traveller, visited many countries, stayed in dozens of hotels (cheap and expensive), very patient when it come to the hotel facilities, etc. But this was horrible to the point that I left the hotel 2 days before.

I liked everything but it was a little irritating that my room was dirty, the bathroom was also a mess from the moment I came in. I don't recommend it at all. It was the worst disappointment of my life to stay in this hotel. The lobby staff was very rude.

Hotel cancelled booking and tried to move us to a hostel 2 weeks before our trip leaving us scrambling around trying to find a decent hotel . No explanation given for why the Venezia was closed . A hostel ,,, totally inappropriate DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
