La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Miami Airport North

For this price, it's a pretty good deal. The only downside is the constant airplane noise, though it mostly stops after 1 AM. However, since we were out early and back late, it didn't really bother us. Free parking is a big plus, and having a McDonald's right next door is convenient.

The hotel is a bit dated and very simply furnished, but it was adequate for one night. The room was clean, which was the most important thing for us. However, the pool was quite dirty, so we didn't use it. The free shuttle bus service worked very well. Call the hotel and give them the door number where you would like to be picked up (on the departure level), and the bus arrived in 10 minutes. We didn't take advantage of the free breakfast. There are several restaurants nearby.

Ideally located near the airport for departures and arrivals. Comfortable. The only downside is that breakfast was very crowded and the room was far too small to accommodate everyone.
