Smart Brickell Hotel

Centrally located, very close to the subway station, and with multiple bus stops nearby, it's super convenient to get to all the attractions and bustling shopping areas.

I stayed here to watch the WBC. The location is good, and the interior is clean (unlike in Japan, you need to bring your own body soap, toothbrush, and slippers). There's a Wendy's and a supermarket just one block away, which was very helpful. It's about a 10-15 minute drive from Lone Depot Park if there's no traffic, or you can get there by Uber or Lyft for around $15-17 (you should budget 2-3 times that amount for the return trip due to traffic). The nearest Brickell station, about a 5-minute walk away, is connected to Miami International Airport by Metro Rail, and I recommend using it unless it's late at night. For Japanese people whose purpose is to watch the WBC, I recommend staying here rather than Miami Beach (far from Lone Depot Park) or downtown (which has a bad reputation for safety).

The apartment is new and comes with a washer, dryer, and walk-in closet, a real boon for travelers. There are restaurants nearby, and a shopping mall is just two streets away, making life very convenient.

This is a guesthouse-style hotel with a front desk, but no breakfast. The front desk staff are quite welcoming, but other staff members vary in their friendliness. There's construction going on next to the hotel, and a highway nearby, so it's very noisy if the balcony door is open!
