Icon Brickell Miami

Had a terrible stay at this place. The curtains were old and dusty, and the overall unit felt very poorly maintained. The balcony was also closed, which was extremely disappointing considering Brickell is known for its beautiful views. I was told it was “under renovation,” but that still does not justify the condition or inconvenience. I even offered to switch to another unit because I was there for birthday celebration, but I was told I would have to pay the full amount again before moving, which I found unfair and unreasonable. What made the experience more disappointing was the lack of hospitality and empathy from the person I communicated with. The responses were rude and there was no consideration for how frustrating the situation was as a guest. I have stayed in another unit in the same area before where the owner maintained the place beautifully and provided excellent hospitality, so I know the experience can be much better than this. Please consider blocking this unit temporarily and making the necessary improvements. It’s not fair for guests to spend their hard-earned money and receive this kind of experience in return.

It used to be a very nice property but now no one is paying any attention to details, property is dirty, things are broken in the apartment, it stinks of **** everywhere including rooms! It was a very very disappointing stay! We contacted the host as the moment we walked into the apartment, the smell of **** hit us like a tone of bricks! The host gave us intoned apartment, saying he will „upgrade” us.. we had to check out and check in again at the reception which was very painful with rude guy at the front desk! To top it all up, he said „the pool is closed Monday - Friday due to building works and if this is not on your provider website this is not our fault!” We walked into the second apartment, only to discover, broke stove, no chairs at dining table, ripped blinds in the main bedroom, smoke detectors off the walls, broken dinning table, broken coffee glass table, and broke lock to the balcony therefore we couldn’t have opened the door! Also the cupboard that has washer dryer had broken doors so it had to stay open limiting the walkway in the hallway! I mean…. Seriously?!? The host then sent me a link to their website and said to choose whichever apartment we wanted this at that point it has been over 2h with changing from other smelly apartment and we had dinner plans. Also for what?! Walking into another disappointment ?!? This was the most disgusting stay I’ve ever experienced and despite being their regular client we will NEVER go back to recommend this place!!!!

We informed management several times that we were not happy with the room cleanliness and they still hold us responsible for the room charge. We ended looking for a different place to stay.

The pools weren't open there was no spa, the jacussi wasn't working, The Gym was a long way just to a garage, On Day 1, I had to wait 2 hours (or 3) just to check in due to unprepared reservations since I got to Miami at 8 pm and I was just trying to relax. The check in was just terrible. Then the staff allowed me in at 10 pm. But honestly, the Icon Brickell wasn't too good.

It is not what it looks like on the photo. It is very, very old. Not the Icon Brickell its the W hotel BIG DIFFERENCE you are communicating with an ai agent not a person upon entering there severely low-light guests have to search for the switch for table lamps which feels ominous in unfamiliar spaces. The windows were covered with plastic construction sheeting there are no blinds in the bedroom for privacy. In addition, densely packed tissue had been strategically placed inside the door lock mechanism, preventing the unit from locking securely when leaving. The situation required securing alternative accommodations immediately. Travelers may want to confirm the real-time condition of a property prior to arrival and consider having a backup plan if the listing does not reflect the unit’s actual state. Upside, the unit was VERY clean.

No balcony open, they cover the windows with plastic wrap so u can’t see anything outside, I just booked for the views and my stay there was ruined, they said it’s because of constructions but they should disclose that before booking and not advertise open balcony/views + plus pool is never open

Place was nice, however the fire alarm kept going off throughout out the stay. Also, the pool was only accessible until 7 pm and ONLY on the weekend due to construction.

The first apartment we got was not well maintained and had maintanence works outside so no access to balconies. We contacted the office and got out into a different apartment which was good. We stayed in this place about 10 times before and although sometimes the maintenance of the rooms are lacking the staff do a good job to accommodated your needs.

Very bad sensation, the apartment and location are very good, but the access to the balcony was closed, the windows with a great shadow rof the building reparations, the pool area closed, marihuanas smells. I changed my stay even I lost 4 nights paid. A really bad experience!!
