Probably was a nice place a while back but found it to be quite run down. The room was not clean at all and we had 2 cockroaches visiting! Would not stay again

Not bad, will go again in the future. The consumption in the Bahamas is very high, and this hotel is considered good value for money. The swimming pool is huge. The environment is also ok……………..

Based on reviews, I was a little worried, but it was a great stay! It is a marina with big beautiful yachts. Everything is very clean, staff is super friendly and helpful. We had a completely renovated room that was beautiful. Coffee every morning on balcony looking out to the water. I’m not sure if all the rooms have been renovated or not, but they are doing renovations in the off season (not now). They have kayaks and bikes to rent, fishing poles, will reserve dinner and arrange taxis. The only negative comment is the on-site restaurant, it’s ok, but I would eat somewhere else. Pier1 with the shark feedings. Food was great! Also Agave was excellent. Overall a great stay and I would return!

The apartament is small but very well located. The view is great, all apartaments and hotel rooms have the marina view. The restaurant is good and not that pricy The pool is great and has good drinks, you can sit in the pool for your drink or food, that I loved Internet you have to pay separately and still not good at all, I was using it for work

We had SUCH a great time at Ocean Reef!! Being on a bay or canal, we were able to kayak, bicycle, and walk in peace and quiet. And when we wanted the ocean, it was just down the road! The employees were all friendly and helpful. We will be back!!

There are some other beaches and bars within walking distance but not enough variety for a whole week. You can rent a car for the day which we did and - just remember to stay to the left! The marina and pool area are very well kept. Fishing charters were small boats unless you wanted to spend $$$$ for a day trip.There is a ferry over to another national park beach which was a nice change of pace. The straw market had a lot of redundancy but worth a visit. The island is still recovering a bit from the 2019 hurricane so be patient. Definitely recommend!

First of all, the main picture is not accurate.Yes, there is a pool but that image behind the pool is superimposed. There is a dock with boats parked at it behind the pool area. Secondly, this is not a yacht club nor is it a "resort" and it's located in the middle of nowhere. It is a place to dock your boat and there is a building with rooms and that's about it. Thankfully, we rented a car or else we'd have been stuck at this "resort". There is absolutely nothing to do around there but go to the beach. They tell you that you can walk to the beach but it's a couple of miles in each direction. Even with the car there was no where to go and nothing to do and seeing skinny dogs roaming around looking for food was upsetting. Our room was large, like an apartment. There were lightbulbs missing in the lamps, the remote did not work in the bedroom (there were only about 4 channels to choose from anyway), and the worst part was the roaches. Every single day we killed roaches. They sprayed our room but they kept coming. We couldn't put our suitcases on the floor so we had them on the bar stools, off the ground. We kept food in the fridge and microwave. The staff is very nice and they try but the place is run down and in the middle of nowhere. I couldn't wait to leave.

We had a non working stove that had to be replaced and several faucets also replaced. Construction happening early in the morning pounding and pounding hammers. This caused electricity to go out as well and phone never worked for out going calls.

Need to be updated overal. Mopp the floors. Blinds that are broken and some not working at all. Staircase squeaks while climbing it. Love the concept and arrangements of the townhouse, albeit and the personal enclosed car parking space right at the door. The entire property was well lighted and a security gate in place. Good TV cable receptions and internet. Love that.
