It was easy to locate and clean.

Recently refurbished and clean. About 300 yards from the bus station. About half a mile from the rail station. Aldi in the same building as the Travelodge, and Sainsbury's over the road.

Lovely warm welcome. Clean, comfortable room. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Trudy made me and my children hot chocolates. Lovely smiley and genuine lady. A credit to the hotel. Highly recommend a stay here!

Trudy was amazing, very helpful and friendly. She works so hard to make the hotel comfortable and welcoming.

The hosts, Trudy at the front desk as well as the lady that served dinner at the restaurant (17 July) , are some of the best hosts I have ever met in a Travelodge. I wish I could rate them 6 out of 5. The address, the environment around the building, the state of the room/bathroom not so much. Compare it for instance with Travelodge Doncaster lake and you can hardly give more than a middle of the range score. It does have a nice restaurant though. So I go with 4 out of 5, and recommend this as a one night stop over where you can be sure of absolutely excellent, welcoming and friendly reception and service.

Iv been hear for 6 weeks and Sam the manager is a brilliant lady who will go above and beyond too help anyone she very polite and makes u feel very welcome

Sam at reception is a true representation of what great customer service looks like. She supported us with our booking, room choice and no question was too much! Room was spacious, clean and perfect for our needs!

The Middlesbrough Travelodge is exceptional. Lovely helpful staff were on duty on arrival and our room had obviously been cooled for us as it was very hot that day. It was super clean and tidy too. We don’t usually eat at a hotel preferring to find somewhere local but we had dinner in the hotel and were very pleasantly surprised and happy with it, the food was delicious and well presented. I usually look at travelodge first as it is value for money and always in good locations and very clean, but this one really stands out because of the lovely staff.
