Casa Storica Piazza 5 Giornate

I did not use the kitchen. It is an apartment with a small room and small bathroom. It is not a hotel. I was charged an extra 60 Euros because I did not arrive until 1:00AM. I called the contact person when I arrived but it took time to get the luggage and get the bus which is 1 hour ride to the Centrsl Station in Milan. Then I had to wait for a taxi which took at least 15 minutes to reach the apartment. The owners called me 3 times asking me when I was going to arrive. The owners gave me 4 keys to unlock 4 separate doors. It was very confusing. Again, this is not a hotel and should not be presented as such. I was promised a view of a monument but it is completely covered for renovation. The neighborhood is lovely but not close to anything of import. There is a COIN department store very near. I stayed 1 night and promptly left in the morning.

It was nice and spacious. I liked how it had a kitchenette. Very clean. They were so nice too. It is near a busy street. I do suggest bringing earplugs.

Nicola is a fantastic host. This property seems perfect for Milan. The location is nicely situated to move around Milan and close enough to many nice cafe/restaurants.

price & service balance is good. close do duomo by walking (20 min)

The area is very noisy. It’s in the middle of the big crossroads and the trams work almost all night. The room is small and has very limited supplies. They have many hidden fees for cleaning, changing towels and bedding. Be aware that you have to pay for late check in. The host is very nice and informative but it would be great to include some supplies and amenities. I would not stay there again.

The locación is great, the service from personmel amazing as well as the condition of the room, so clean and best, for me the only point to improve is the small size of the shower, but other than that 10 points.
