HD8 Hotel Milano

The hotel's location is great, right across from the station. However, the station is huge, so it's still a bit of a walk from the platform to the hotel. A young man rushing to catch a train could probably make it in 12 minutes, no problem. The room type I stayed in had no shower curtain, so the bathroom floor got very wet after showering. Plus, you had to close the bathroom door to shower, otherwise, water would splash outside as well. I felt like the front desk was a bit discriminatory towards me.

Very convenient! When I arrived, they told me my room had a power outage, so they arranged for me to stay at the hotel next door, which was also great. For the price and location, it's excellent value for money.

The hygiene was so-so. Without asking, I was given an accessible room, which made showering really inconvenient; the water spilled everywhere and it got very damp.

I could write a thousand words complaining about this hotel. Honestly, besides the great location right across from the train station, it has absolutely no redeeming qualities, haha. But seriously, the service and hygiene were terrible. We booked a twin room, and when we arrived, they just told us they were out and we'd have to take a double. Then, the shower water kept fluctuating between hot and cold, and it would constantly flood – even changing rooms didn't help. The room was tiny, and the bathroom had a persistent sewage smell. There was zero service to speak of. Avoid this place at all costs! Milan itself is really dirty and chaotic; I honestly wouldn't recommend coming unless you absolutely have to depart from here. The night view during the Winter Olympics was the only thing remotely worth seeing.
