Lion Hostel Milano Centrale

I booked a 2persons room with a bathroom. The room was very clean and beautiful. The view wasn't nice and the area also late at night. I recommend it if you would like something cheap and good. The people working there were very helpful and kind

Parking lot: 20€ extra Being 30mins late due to searching an external parking slot: 10€ extra for each person (30€ for us 3) To top it off: 10€ extra each night for the AC remote - I recommend you bring your own IR blaster instead or find another stay Our toilet flush was broke, some towels were still dirty. The staff was nice at first (but not at all dedicated) and got mad as we discussed upon his reasonings for the extra 30 bugs. Later he showed up when we scanned the WIFI password in the hallway (there are security cams) and asked us what we were doing and why we were "sneaking around" so late. Thankfully we just booked for one night. Gonna learn from it and pay more attention to existing reviews from now.

Horrible . I've just red all the others reviews and I confirm. I had a prenotation but T had to change the date so I called and wrote to the structure many times, always witout answers. I got an answer just one time from a person that then I would have known to be the owner, that told me that the guy responsable for the reception wasn't there (.........) . I had to cancel the prenotation and of couse in theory if you pay for a service that you don't use , you get a cashback . It has benn a month and I called the structure to ask for more informations, the rube and arrogant owner of couse told me that I would have got the cashback if the conditions for it would have met, to wich I asked what contidions were those, and he replied that there were none. So yeah they are a Scam, don't go there.

This is not one star it is a ZERO!!! They are charging you for late check in (after 8pm) and it is written nowhere. You dont get any receipt, they are laying you ll get an email like confirmation for paying but you dont get nothing. When I asked again for that, they started yelling and also refused to give us hairdryer which was working cause our in the room wasn't working. Not to mention that entrance looks like a garage where you ll end up kidnapped. Awful experience.

Me and two more friends stayed two nights at the Milano Lion Hostel. Due to some changes on our trip, we needed to book an extra night, but the communication with the hostel was so difficult, we had to give up and book that extra night at some place else.  We arrived at the hostel; the entrance is a somewhat creepy garage looking place. We got inside, and the horrible feet smell is impossible to ignore. The receptionist was nice and proceeded to make us a tour of the place. We stayed at the feminine dorm, it was not the best-looking room, but the beds looked clean enough. We then moved on to see the kitchen, that funny enough, was right next to the only single bathroom they had, for most of the hostel guests (not bathroom stalls)!The tour ended in our room again, with the receptionist saying - "The rooms have no keys because we are here 24hours".  Overall, the whole place looks disgusting; we did not feel safe knowing that literally anybody could get in our room any time; the bathroom is almost a public bathroom, since there are only two for the whole hostel. The only good thing about that place, was leaving! And the location wasn’t the worst either.

Pleasantly surprised by this hostel, especially considering the price. The staff were so helpful with telling us the best places to go, Navigli in particular is the best place to go for bars. So close to the metro which is only €2 and can travel all around Milan. The room was not spotless although was still pretty clean, but not surprising considering the price. Was happy with the fact that the gates closed at 12:30 and if we wanted to get in past that time we would have to ring the reception bell, where reception was open 24/7. We had access to a kitchen and a fridge which was an added bonus and a cute courtyard area as seen in the pictures. Would definitely recommend staying here despite the bad views!!
