SFO El Rancho Inn, SureStay Collection by Best Western

As a Front Office Manager, I value warm and engaging hospitality. Unfortunately, my check-in and check-out experiences felt purely transactional — check-in was particularly underwhelming. At checkout, there was no inquiry about my stay, nor was any extra assistance offered. Overall, interactions at check-in, breakfast, and checkout lacked warmth. While staff were polite, they weren’t proactive. The property itself is clean, conveniently close to the airport, and responsive to emails. There is a vending machine on site, and breakfast was average, with limited options. The room was exactly like the photo. The beds were comfortable, and the AC worked well, which I appreciated. However, the shower in my room needs attention, the Wi-Fi was frustratingly slow, and it would have been nice to have water provided in the room. I was also informed at check-in that the security deposit could only be placed on a credit card, although I had read that cash was an option. Overall, it’s fine for a short stay, but improving guest engagement and Wi-Fi would greatly enhance the experience.

Good location near SFO Airport. Reasonable price, and the room is clean and comfortable.

Filthy, noisy, forfeited my money (non refundable) and left. Headed to La Quinta Inn and Suites just up the road. Don't recommend.

We spent good days at this hotel. I like the style of this hotel, and everything here is satisfied.

Location is great, less than 10 mins ride from airport. And 2 blocks down is a shopping plaza with Safeway supermarket and Trader Joe.

The room and facilities were clean. The bed was very comfy. The variety at the breakfast was small but sufficient. The food was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good place to stay near SFO.

Nice motel with a good breakfast. Let us check in an hour early which was really appreciated. Location is ok - about 20 min walk to BART station that is one stop from the airport, or 15 min drive directly to the airport.
