Residence Inn San Francisco Airport Millbrae Station

The location is excellent! You can take BART to San Francisco and Caltrain to San Jose. The hotel is very new, and there are many Chinese restaurants nearby, making dining incredibly convenient!

Facilities: All good. Hygiene: Clean. Environment: Quiet. Service: The Asian lady at the front desk was very thoughtful and helped us arrange a taxi for pickup and drop-off.

The room was very spacious and within walking distance of the subway station. It was spotlessly clean, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was decent, a standard American-style spread. Although it's only one subway stop from the airport, I'd recommend taking a taxi for convenience, which costs around 20 USD.

The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the airport, approximately 5 kilometers away. North-facing rooms offer direct views of planes taking off and landing across Highway 101, but the excellent soundproofing ensures no noise disturbance. The hotel is situated within a recently developed complex and features a large parking lot at the back. Both the rooms and facilities are brand new, which is quite unusual for a US hotel. The rooms are spacious and equipped with basic kitchenware and a stovetop, making them ideal for families with children who want to prepare simple meals. As the surrounding area is newly developed, there are currently only two fast-food restaurants across the street (one of which is Panda Express, a well-known Chinese fast-food chain in the US). The other units are still for lease, so it will probably take over a year for more amenities to become available. However, in the community directly opposite, there are three to four restaurants, including the famous West Coast burger joint, In-N-Out. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station, offering quick and easy access to Silicon Valley and San Francisco. The hotel offers breakfast, which is quite good for a US hotel, featuring options like hard-boiled eggs🥚, scrambled eggs, bread, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, coffee, and more.

I was very satisfied with the hotel, and I'd like to add some tips about transportation from the airport to the hotel. If there are four or fewer people traveling, taking the train is a good option, as the fare is $5.25 USD per person. If there are more than four of you, just use Uber. The hotel is very close to the airport. For our family of five, we booked a 6-seater car, which comfortably fit our three large suitcases, and it cost between $25-30 USD. The price varied slightly between our arrival and departure, but it was generally in that range.

This hotel is very close to Millbrae Station. From San Francisco International Airport, find the BART train, take it one stop to Millbrae, then exit, turn left, take the elevator down, and walk straight for a few minutes to reach the hotel. From the hotel, you can walk to Millbrae Station and take the BART train to downtown San Francisco, or take Caltrain to Silicon Valley, both of which are very convenient.

The location is super convenient, and the hotel is quite new, actually better than many 5-star facilities in downtown San Francisco. It's very quiet and clean. The fried chicken across the street is delicious, and it's just a two-minute walk to the train station.
