Best Hotels in Milperra

If you just want a place to 'put the head down' overnight in south west sydney at a reasonable price, this is not a bad choice. The room was well equipped, reasonable modern, quite large and surprisingly quiet, (noting it is a pub motel and we stayed on a Saturday night). Reception in the moring is non existent, (you leave your key in the room), at night you might need to find someone in the pub. There is not a lot going on in the surrounds, its certainly not a base for touring Sydney, but if you are visiting people or have business in the area and you just need an inexpensive place to sleep and freshen up, this is a pretty good option. I would stay here again.

The hotel itself is very good. The pool area is small but is on the 9th floor so has a good view. Gavin at the pool bar was extremely friendly & helpful. More seats/Sun lounges are needed & more shade. If the 4 cabanas were taken out there would be a lot more room for seating & a huge shade could be put up. The staff are very friendly although there wasn’t enough staff on when we had dinner. I couldn’t find anything on the menu I could eat as I have food intolerances. I had to seek out a waitress & ask for help. Thankfully ‘Jenny’ spoke with the chef & I had fish & salad. (It did still cost $42 which was the price for the fish meal on the menu). We waited for well over an hr for our meals & my husband’s was not what he ordered. Due to the fact we had waited so long he agreed to eat it. Bit of a disappointing experience. We didn’t have breakfast at the restaurant as we weren’t able to use my Accor card on a public holiday. I can’t justify spending $70 for the two of us when there’s not a lot of food options for me. We ended up sharing a room service meal which was good.

We had confirmation for a 12 noon check in via email. When we arrived I was told that we do not do 12 noon check in times? I explained to the lady on reception that we had confirmation via email that it was confirmed for a 12 noon check in. When I showed her, I got a negative response. We where told that I would be contacted as to when the room will be available. We had to wait 2 hours before our room was ready, which was at 2pm. We where missing shampoo's and body wash, I had spoken to reception about this and was told that room service will drop them of to us, Well it took them 2 days to get to us after asking several times. Not a great 4 night experience this time around staying here.

This stay was very satisfying! The room is clean, bright, fully equipped and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, and are always ready to address our needs. The location is excellent, the transportation is convenient, and there are many food and attractions nearby. I felt like I was at home during my stay. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time. Highly recommended!

We had an unfortunate time in October 2019 were our father had to have a quadrupal heart bypass. We looked at places to stay close to Liverpool hospital. We ended up staying at the El Toro at Liverpool. The Welcome we got was nothing but AAA class, the service we got in the pub and restaurant that is attached to the motel again AAA class.The meals that we had all fresh and beautiful. To name two of the staff although all staff were very friendly Jay and especially Cassie went rite out of their way to make sure that we were happy. Well done keep up the good work. Cheers. As my partner and I approached The Elysium, we were immediately charmed by the hotel's grandeur, ensconced in an atmosphere of tranquility, a serene oasis in the bustling city. The warmth with which we were greeted upon arrival was only the beginning of our enchanting journey. Despite it being a busy weekend, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and hassle-free. Their genuine interest in our well-being, coupled with their attention to detail, made us feel truly pampered. Our room, a serene haven, was tastefully decorated, blending modern amenities with subtle touches of elegance. A sweeping view of the city skyline against the setting sun from our window was simply mesmerizing, adding an extra layer of magic to our stay. The cleanliness and peaceful ambiance of the room were second to none, contributing to our restful nights. Evening walks in the hotel's serene gardens, imbued with the soft scent of blooming flowers, brought us closer to nature and each other. Meanwhile, the sleek, tranquil spa with its range of rejuvenating treatments further elevated our stay. Our experience at The Elysium was indeed a magical escape, made even more special by the fact that we shared these wonderful moments together. It was a refreshing break, a chance to disconnect from the mundane, and reconnect with each other. Our memories of this place are etched in our hearts, making us yearn to return when the opportunity arises. We left The Elysium with heavy hearts but with the promise of a future visit. It was more than just a hotel, it was an experience, a beautiful chapter in our lives, that we would happily revisit.

Just finished the check-in, breakfast should be at your own expense, so look at how you eat yourself! My room bed is bigger, I think the children can live together, the room is not very big, so there is no way to extra bed! It is very convenient to take the subway. It is a distance from the subway station. A straight street goes down and turns across the road, so you should be mentally prepared for the big bag!

We were in Sydney on business and stayed one night at the Ibis. Despite being Accor Hotel Members we were given the most basic of rooms. Generally the rooms are very dated in need of complete renovation. The floor of the room was uneven with a huge concrete bump under the carpet at the doorway of the bathroom! It is a trip hazard and very unsightly. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The room was very small though and we would have appreciated a bit more room. The windows opened which was great for fresh air was but hoons doing burnouts on the road below during the night forced us to keep them closed unfortunately. The bed was super comfy. The Brasserie was nice with a limited menu but the waiter forgot to give us a side dish for our main meal. Breakfast was fairly expensive for plain continental (no hot food) breakfast. The waitstaff were friendly. The lady who checked us out was very friendly and happy to have a chat.

Positives - Easily accessible bus stop right out front - ID and card details to check in so no annoying bond held - EXCEPTIONAL customer service!! The lady at check in was so warm and welcoming and made me feel like a valued guest which is so refreshing as having stayed in many budget price point accommodations over the years great customer service is definitely not the norm so I thank them greatly for that. - Excellent price point paid $85 for the night - Great standard of cleaning - Quiet - Microwave available in common area Negatives - The plastic stool was very short and uncomfortable. - No tea bags or anything in the room, says all removed due to COVID prevention but doesn’t really make sense considering everything e.g. soap bars, bed sheets, are all going to be handled and put in the room so how individually packaged coffee/tea is higher risk I don’t understand.

Generally fine and good place to stay for a night or two. Hotel is in walking distance to the airport (domestic terminal). Personnel is friendly. Rooms are clean. However, the room is generally (even without AC quite loud and the shower has no / little pressure.
