The location for me was perfect as I needed to be close to the hospital. It’s also close to bus stops into the centre and with a car you can reach destinations around the city fast.
The room is as shown in photos and is very well equipped for a hotel of this category. The wine glasses and tumblers chilling in the fridge were welcome! I found the room to be very clean and well kept. There was good storage, plenty of sockets including a couple of USB ports which is handy.The views of the marina were very nice and added character.
The people I met whilst staying were friendly and helpful.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and had two good nights rest. I’d certainly book there again.

Nice hotel staff are lovely. Easy to get to city the pub next door does a decent carvery . It’s spotless and you have a microwave fridge ect in your room and takeaways in walking distance. Nice view of the canal.

We had an adjoining family room for 4 adults. This was a great spot on the canal where all the long boats parked.
Had a meal and some beers at the adjoining restaurant and bar which was great and reasonably priced.

Super rooms. Exceptionally clean.
Room include a microwave, fridge, and cutlery in case you want to have a takeaway.
The only thing missing from the room is some bottled water.
Pub/restaurant next door has a carvery every day. Very good value food. However the breakfast doesn't start until 9am which I imagine would be useless to a majority of hotel guests. (The restaurant is independent to the hotel).
Lots of free parking. Canal boat marina behind hotel. Canal boat 7ft from my bedroom window!
Very quiet area. Good sleep.
Exceptional value for Monday. Far cheaper and better than Premier Inn.

We had an amazing stay the staff are so lovely and our room was spotless had everything we needed even down to a microwave and cutlery we highly recommend staying here you wont be disappointed we cant wait to come back 😍
