Quality Inn Milwaukee Route 45

Not sure where to start but will say I would give this non Quality Inn a minis -10 if I could. To start the check in was by far the worst I have ever encountered. Both people at the front desk did not seem to know what they were doing the check in took over a hour for us (there were 3 people in front of us but there were two people working the desk. After checking in and going to our room we found the halls very dirty and there was a stale beer like smell in the hallway. In getting into our room, we found the room dirty and not one towel to be found. Also, the TV remote did not work very well at all. We went down to the front desk and told them there were no towels and they did not seem to be surprised in fact that seems to be the norm. We had to take a few thin towels up to our room ourselves. We also told them a pond deaf ears about the remote the people did not seem too surprised and were no help at all There was no working ice machine. The parking lot was as dirty as the halls and as other have stated there were employees by the front door smoking all the time, There may have been drug sales going on there as well. I have to say the next time we go to Milwaukee we sure know were NOT to stay with all that was wrong I would think a partial refund would be in order. Also of note while the sub restaurant is OK the other restaurants in the area are ones that you would want to stay away from. On the plus side there is a elevator there. It was needed as we were on the 3rd floor.

I would give it a zero if that was an option. I stay at hotels every week and this is my worst hotel in over 8 years. I went into my room and the dresser drawers were full of someone's clothes, dirty bowls and silverware, and garbage. The toilet still hadn't been flushed since last used. Had no soap and shampoo. There was not any breakfast even though their website said they had breakfast. The coffee machine was broke. Only had 2 pillows and they didn't have pillow cases on them. Don't waste your money here. The person at the desk said they are changing their name to Norwood Inn and Suites so don't stay there.

I was told by the front desk that my reservation had been canceled, however was charged for the full reservation of 5 days. After countless hours trying to work with their customer support for the past 2 months, I have not been able to have this resolved in any reasonable way. Impossible to understand and they have no desire to do what is right for customers.
