I always stay here. I'm very satisfied with how clean the rooms are.

Good location for a small cozy tow

It's just over 30 minutes to Ouchi-juku. I liked that breakfast was served from 6:30. We were able to enjoy both Japanese and Western-style breakfast, and coffee afterward. The room was clean and easy to use, and the greetings from the staff we passed were very pleasant.

I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Fukushima. The parking lot was spacious and the large public bath was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet had a slightly limited selection, but it was delicious.

Breakfast was included, but by 7:30 AM the rice was already gone and no more was provided. Also, the breakfast service ended early at 8:30 AM, and the part-time staff seemed rushed and flustered, which was disappointing.

I stayed in room 117. The turbine-like noise from the air conditioner (or maybe the outdoor unit?) was so loud that I couldn't sleep well.

The room was clean and nice. I booked through Trip.com and paid the same amount as the accommodation fee via PayPay as a kind of deposit. I paid the same amount by credit card at the reception. Since I had already paid in advance, I asked at the reception, and they said I was referred by Rakuten Travel, and they didn't seem to be aware of that. A message stated that the refund would be issued after checkout, and that it would take anywhere from 3 days to almost a month. I felt this was quite risky. It's now been over 6 days. At the gas station next to the hotel, I paid in advance with PayPay and received a refund immediately after refueling, which made it even more strange.

Perhaps because the air conditioning in the hotel wasn't particularly crisp, the air quality was rather gloomy. The carpet on the stairs wasn't cleaned properly, and mud stains were visible, perhaps due to the color of the fabric. Upon entering the room, a stale smell hit me, along with the hot, humid air. I felt a bit hesitant about asking for the air conditioner to be turned on before check-in, given the energy-saving aspect, but I was impressed by the cool, fresh air I felt as I entered the room at a similar business hotel the night before. Since the building is well-insulated and airtight, wouldn't it make much difference if the air conditioner was turned on about an hour before check-in? While it wasn't directly relevant since we were traveling by car, the proximity to the station would likely be appreciated by train-loving travelers. While there are almost no dining options around the hotel, or even in the town itself, after 6 p.m., this isn't necessarily a drawback, considering it's a subtlety of traveling in a mountain village town. The nearby Family Mart is a relief. The bath isn't particularly large, but if you time it properly, it's clean and comfortable. Breakfast isn't fancy, but it's sufficient and perfectly fine. The price was during the Obon holidays so it was a bit of a problem, but I think it would be a very satisfactory business hotel at the regular price.

The hallway is incredibly cold. It's very cold once you arrive and enter your room. Even with the heating on, the carpet on the floor is still cold. I wish they would do more to keep the room warm. Also, I wish they would clear the snow from the parking lot.

In this area where there are no other accommodations, this facility, with its basic simplicity and affordability similar to a business hotel, is a welcome addition.

I was able to park my motorcycle under a roof in the rain. The facilities also seem to be new.

I stayed here in order to ride the Aizu Railway's tatami-mat train. Its location right in front of the station made getting around very convenient. The hotel was very clean, and I was happy to be able to use the bathtub. Amenities were also provided.

I told them I couldn't make it due to the sudden bad weather. I came by motorbike and the sudden thunderstorm warning would make it dangerous to hike the mountain. Still, they said they couldn't cancel my reservation or give me a refund. What terrible service.
