Very good onsen !

The hot spring hotel in the mountains has a very ancient ghost story feel. There are three large baths, including mixed baths! There are also three family-style bathhouses. No reservation is required, and you can go in without anyone else. The service is very kind. I told them that I am not good at eating fish, so they replaced the fish with meat for me.

There were not many people on the day we stayed, so we used it like a private bath, and there were men's and women's baths, 2 family baths, and a mixed bath. Lovely staff, large room in a beautiful ryokan. A large onsen and 2 small individual ones. Very good breakfast. Ideal location next to kurakowa onsen (Edo village), Daikanbo scenic point and Mount Aso. Excellent value.
