Okyakuya

This historic inn offers excellent service. The hot springs have a slimy quality that is gentle on the skin. There are about seven baths, including open-air baths and family baths. There are two types of hot springs, but the quality of the springs has changed due to the earthquake. The food is delicious and the quantity is appropriate. At Kurokawa Onsen, it is often difficult to drive and park your car, but there is a parking space in front of the inn, which is a big advantage. The only drawback is that there is no elevator as it is a historic inn, so you have to use the stairs to get around. As long as you don't have any foot problems, this is a hot spring inn that will leave you satisfied.

As the name "Okyakuya" suggests, it is a historical inn. I used it for a day trip bath. I used the open-air bath, and the sulfuric acid spring water was light and felt good on the skin. It's also good if it's a little lukewarm. It gives a sense of formality, such as around the entrance.

I reserved a 6 tatami room with no view, but thanks to the kindness of the inn, I stayed in a larger 12 tatami room. It was a strangely designed room with a washroom and toilet in one corner. This inn is built on a slope, so you have to go up and down stairs to get to the restaurant or hot springs.There are handrails, but the angle is a little so it may not be suitable for elderly people with weak legs. . Other than that, there are two types of family baths, and several types of baths where men and women can alternate, so you can enjoy the hot springs. And the food was Japanese and Western creative cuisine, voluminous and very delicious. This is a recommended inn for those looking forward to hot springs and meals.

I like the atmosphere of Kurokawa Onsen and have visited it many times. It was my first time staying at a guest house. When I soaked in the hot water, my companion and I were surprised at how soft the water was. When I returned to my room and looked at the introductory pamphlet, I learned that the quality of the spring water had changed after the Kumamoto earthquake and that it had returned to the same quality as it was about 20 years ago. I was curious if something like that could happen. I am satisfied with both the indoor and outdoor baths. The day was New Year's Day 3 and was fully booked, but the two family baths were sometimes empty. The morning and evening meals contained more horse sashimi than I expected and were very delicious. The homemade rice was also delicious. Although Kurokawa Onsen is a little inconvenient, it is still worth a visit. I was blessed with the opportunity to see the seasonal lights of the hot springs, and once again I thought it was a wonderful place. This is a recommended inn where you can spend time with your loved ones.

3/30の夜に夕月に泊まらせて頂きました。 タイトルに「控えめ言って最高」と書きましたが間違えました 「めちゃくちゃ控えめに言って最高」でした 長男の誕生日が、数日前だったので、予約の時に、ケーキを準備して下さるとのことでした。ディナーのデザートがバースデーケーキに。これも美味しかった この食事は、料理の味はモチロン、部屋の雰囲気だけでなく 給仕してくださった男性の説明で美味しさが倍以上になった気がします。 名前聞くの忘れた。「ありがとうございました」ってお名前聞いて伝えたい 他の方々もお宿の雰囲気を柔らかい空間に作って下さり ありがとうございました 朝ごはんも美味しかった それと、元から部屋数が少ないからか、お風呂でほとんど人と会わない 貸し切り？って思いました。 夕方、夜、朝とすべてそんな感じなので、ホントにゆっくり お風呂にはいれました。 帰りの時も、チェックアウト後に、温泉街の待ちブラするで 車を置いてもらっていたのですが その時も、とても丁寧に車のキーを預かる対応をしてくださいました。 絶対また行きたいって思う宿だと思います
