In general I like this hot spring hotel which was built on the venue containing 16 houses dated back to the 17th century. The hotel itself, its garden and room all look not bad. However the AC at the boutique shop was broken yesterday and it was super hot to shop there. Not sure if it’s repaired today. An opened brush bag without toothpaste was kept in the bathroom- they expected me to use or what? The service and food can both be better - but do not take it wrong - they are already good - it’s just I have a very high standard in particular when we talk about foods. I like the two free liquor - one sale the other plum wine- provided every evening 17:00-19:30 though. :) The Hotel can organise many experiencing and traveling activities and you need to book online ahead. Free shuttle service between the hotel and ECHIGO YUZAWA STATION is provided and you also need to book in advance - very generous gesture.

Pay extra to upgrade to a room with an independent open-air bath
The hot springs are good. The rooms are generally a bit dated but hygienic.

The hotel itself is very nice. However, the location is very remote and it is inconvenient to go anywhere. If you don't drive, you can only call a taxi. It is inconvenient to bring children. I booked meals but they were all bento boxes, sorry about the price. It is not recommended to choose this place if you are skiing, it is not convenient to go anywhere.

The location is inconvenient, the hotel is new and clean, and the hot spring is small. If there are too many people, it won't work. I ordered breakfast and dinner! HK$3100 is incredible! He actually eats bento and throws vegetables at the hotel. Very low cost performance, not recommended

I don’t think these meal are gastronomic. There are not any technique cooking method. Every service is cheating like other Japanese daily business hotel’s one. I had lots of experiences staying luxury hotels, but I can not enjoy this stay.
