I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel in Katunayaka, Sri Lanka, and I couldn't be more delighted with my experience. The hotel's warm hospitality, impeccable service, and comfortable accommodations made my stay truly memorable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, and the location was convenient for both business and leisure travelers. Прекрасное место, чтоб остановиться в Негомбо! Особенно после перелета)) ОЧЕНЬ близко к аэропорту (15 минут на туктуке)! Красивая приотельная зона, просторные комнаты! Есть все необходимое для комфортного отдыха! Вкусный ресторан Sasha в пяти минутах ходьбы от отеля! Супермаркеты, сувенирные лавки, длинная береговая линия в 5-15 минутах на тук-туке! Вкусный завтрак был включён в стоимость! Хозяин отеля-Уди, прекрасный человек! Очень вежливый, участливый, супер-отзывчивый, всегда поможет, ответит на все вопросы, сделает все, что в его силах, чтоб ваш отдых в отеле был замечательным! Обожаю это место, людей! The hotel is located in Negombo, about ten minutes' drive from Colombo Airport. The room is quite big and the air conditioning is cold enough. The balcony of the room on the first floor goes directly to the beach, making it a suitable place for a relaxing vacation.

We were going to fly from Colombo Bandaranaike Airport and checked in here in advance. It was located near the airport and provided airport pick-up and drop-off. The hotel provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can order from the menu. The dishes suit my taste and I think they taste great! The hotel also has a large yard and a very good environment! The staff is also very friendly! Will come here next time.

This was my third stay at the Goldi Sands, honestly, the last time was nearly 20 years ago but I had such a great time back then I had high expectations. In the intervening 20 years, the hotel has had a revamp, double the size, double the number of swimming pools, added an elevator and they've removed the beach-fronted bungalows. All of which I think was a smart move and well worth doing. What has changed is the service and the catering. The staff are of course all very polite just that they didn't go the extra mile like they used to. We arrived late as our flight had been delayed, all I wanted was a couple of bottles of beer, they did arrive but I almost had to beg. I booked a taxi to the airport with the front desk, but they forgot, the waitresses at dinner were all about the hard upsell rather than serving. The breakfast as far as my memory serves me used to be awesome, today's breakfast is the same every day and lacks imagination, is poorly presented, and includes the worst coffee ever. The hotel has a confusing number of tariffs from all-inclusive to room only which means if you want to buy a drink it takes forever as they have to check your ”status” and then if you pay cash they have to go to the cashier as they carry no float. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable but basic. All in all it is still a good hotel to choose but sadly it is no longer in the memorable category.

We had an amazing holiday in this beautiful resort. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was well equipped and comfortable with all the amenities. Nice sea view rooms. This is the best place in negambo if you search a relaxing holiday. Pool and surroundings are amazing. Restaurant staff were friendly and always with a smile. Special thank to chathuranga. At the request of the boss, I must review this hotel. There are more than 4 kilometers away from the airport. They are quite small and clean. I only slept for one night anyway. The next day was to leave at 6:30 in the morning, so they prepared breakfast just after 6 o'clock, two omelette bars, two sandwiches, and a large pot of coffee. After all, the conditions are not comparable to the 5 new hotels in the city, which is fair enough. The boss also provides car rental services. I didn't try it because the traffic in Sri Lanka is really big. If you have confidence in your driving skills, you can drive by yourself.

Breakfast is generally but a large amount, relatively simple, medium and medium rules. The room is huge, the bathroom is huge, there are slippers, but there is no toothpaste toothbrush, no water, the hotel door has a small supermarket in a few tens of meters, it is convenient, there are food, there are fruits. The hotel is not far from the north of the lagoon, the hotel beach is good.

The owners are just the most adorable. I was a solo female traveller and they looked after me like parents. So sweet. Small but clean rooms. Loved the art decor. Bright and cheery. Cosy. Small swimming pool. Loved the pets too. Nice set breakfast, freshly cooked and served to you. Really short and simple straight walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. I went on a boat cruise one evening and the owners checked to see that the company was legitimate. On two separate evenings, they reserved me lovely tables at restaurants and made sure I had good service. They got up early when I left to help with my luggage and to see me off. Support small businesses. Absolutely lovely.

The hotel is very good, I set the annex, it is opposite, noisy along the street, but the rooms are relatively clean. In addition, you can enjoy all the equipment in the main building. The swimming pool is nice and the hotel has a private beach which looks great. The service staff were very good. Breakfast is very generous, single room set, but with children, only 850 rubles (33 yuan) for half-price breakfast. The next day I stayed at the Jetwing lake hotel under Lion Rock, great!
