I thought that this hotel was a 3* and not 4*, I had intended saying in this review that it barely lives up to 3 star standard, but could easily change that to 4 star with effort. That effort would need to be made in cleanliness, friendliness and courtesy. However, after spending a good fifteen minutes explaining to an indifferent manager about 7 faults in our room and with service and he either missing the point or just not even a tiny bit interested, I can't see them ever changing from 3 star. I don't mind that the furnishings look old and worn, or the towels not brilliant white, as long as they are clean, but with the exception of the bed and bathroom, nothing in the room appeared to have been properly cleaned for at least 12 months. The fridge was filthy, with broken parts of the freezer section hanging down. I had to clean the kettle before use. This hotel was booked as part of a tour, so I don't know the price breakdown On the plus side, the bed was large and comfortable and the room spacious and light. The food was buffet style with a fairly small choice of food which changed daily. The local selection which was my daily choice was very good. The beachside location was lovely.
