Fantastic location for the night before Mount Fuji hike; just 10 min walk or so to Mishima station where Mount Fuji bus stations are at.
Please refrain from choosing this hotel if having your own shower room is a must for you (the common shower rooms are clean and spacious though).
Room size is on the small side.
Breakfast is very decent considered it’s just a small local hotel. I like the bread and small cup nato.
The hotel replied to my email when I asked for extended luggage storing time since I had an accident up on the mountain that postponed my return time. The staff I met when coming back to pick up my stored luggage spoke really good English and is super friendly.

The environment on the first floor feels more like a coffee shop. There's a self-service water bar that's pretty much always available, and coffee too. Breakfast in the morning is a buffet, with limited variety, but enough to fill you up. The miso soup is rich with ingredients, including green leafy vegetables. It offers great value for money.

Beyond my expectation. The hotel is in the very convenient location, walking distance front the train station. The room is equipped with automatic toilet and wash basin so it provides great comfort and privacy. Shower rooms are available (shared) but not a problem at all and very clean. The price includes breakfast and laundry is free! Highly recommended.

I stayed only one night on my way to Kawaguchi lake. Location is perfect if you need to take the early bus in the morning. Had a private toilet in the room, but shared shower in the hallway, which was very cleaned and organized. Definitely not an inconvenient.
