Toyoko Inn Fujisan Mishima-eki

The hotel is about a 3-minute walk from Mishima Station North Exit, which is very close after exiting the station. However, it's important to note that the north and south exits of Mishima Station are not directly connected, so it's best to confirm you're heading for the North Exit when leaving. The hotel also has a shuttle bus, but I didn't get to try it this time. There are limited convenience stores and restaurants near the North Exit. I ended up going to Numazu later, as it seemed to offer more dining options. The room was small, but I was still able to open my 28-inch suitcase, so the space wasn't as cramped as I expected.

The accommodation was great, and the breakfast spread was impressive. Getting to the south exit of the train station was a bit of a hassle on foot, but the hotel's morning and evening shuttle bus service was a nice convenience.

The hotel is very close to the north exit of JR Station, but there are fewer convenience stores and restaurants near the north exit compared to the south exit. The price is good value for money, but the soundproofing is poor. It's suitable for travelers who need a temporary stopover. The breakfast is simple, just okay. 😑

Waking up and opening the curtains to the delightful surprise of Mount Fuji, a symbol of good fortune for the day, definitely deserves a five-star review! I booked for two consecutive nights, but unfortunately, it rained on the second day, so no more Fuji views. The location is super convenient, very close to the JR station, making it easy to get to Mount Fuji, Hakone, Shizuoka, Atami, and Kamakura. The room is well-equipped and perfect for solo travelers. The front desk service is also excellent. Plus, there's a free bus to other areas, but remember to book in advance!

We chose this hotel because it's a convenient five-minute walk from Mishima Station's North Exit. The room was small but clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities and a sensible layout. In the common area, there are lockable lockers, a coffee machine, a microwave, and dispensers for hot and cold water, plus charging outlets. It was a perfect stopover for us after exploring the nearby area, allowing us to fully rest in this comfortable and pleasant environment while waiting for the hotel's shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko Station.
