Cleanliness was good but my major complaint is that they did not tell us that the air is not working so when we got into our room, it was 80° and all we had was a small window to prop open. Went down to the front desk to see about moving rooms and we weren’t able to do they have us a box fan to put in front of the window for circulation. The next day we saw so many other patrons have box fans as well so this is an entire building issue. We luckily had a colder day the next day and kept our window open to keep the room cool but I was very angry about not being informed of the air not working or the front desk people not offering to take some money off of our stay.

Staff are friendly. No cleanliness issues. Smells clean, but not offensively so. Fitness room was standard but nice and clean. Breakfast was fine as well. Had hot food and not just cereal and toast. Shower had good water pressure. Indoor pool looked nice, but never visited it.
It is an older building but maintained from what I could tell. The tile in the bathroom was cold but clean. My only complaint is that adjusting the thermostat didn't seem to make a difference as the room was very cold. I just shut it off so it wouldn't blow cold air into the room as I was barely in the room except sleeping and getting ready for a workshop.
I plan to stay here in the future if I'm ever in the area.

Only 2 things stuck out. The carpet needs replaced everywhere, it is badly stained. Also, they had no heat. Our room would never get above 68 during the day and down to 65 at night. Not terrible but, 70 would have been preferable. Other than that. Great place for the price. Staff was great.

Staff was wonderul, food was good, clean rooms, nice pool and hot tub, but a/c dudnt work, we moved rooms, no a/c, moved again. It stayed 78-77 degrees all night long. Also DANGEROUS floor level windows, no screen, a toddler could fall out with very little effort. And we were on 3rd floor, with a toddler!

Checkin and check out was quick. Convenient to downtown. Beds wete comfortable and the buffet breakfast wasgreat, they even had bacon!

Property was really clean and pet friendly. I was expecting it to be a lot more dated for the price. Staff was so great and friendly and was able to accommodate everything I asked for. Room was a little warm and AC was a little loud but honestly that’s the worst thing I can add for an honest review. I think I will book again the next time I’m in KC. For the price it’s worth the drive to other areas.

The staff was very friendly, the building was well built and maintained. There were no sound issues from the hall or other rooms, it is concrete building clearly, not wood. The interior finishes were of a high quality but not very “pretty”. The elevators were old and a bit sketchy but never got stuck or failed to arrive.
The weather was unseasonably warm and the hvac system was not yet converted over to air conditioning. front desk did not hesitate to apologize and give us a huge box fan which helped. A very comfortable stay for us!

The air/heat was broken in out room and therefor it was 78 degrees and miserable. The check in counter did not speak English or act like they understood us so there was no fix except for opening the window all night long.
