The bar is on the first floor and the accommodation on the second. The soundproofing is terrible; rooms facing the street have virtually no sound insulation. I was kept awake all night by the noise of cars. I was in a street-facing room on the second floor and couldn't stand the noise, so I asked to switch rooms the next day. They lied and told me they were fully booked, even though it was clear many rooms were empty. The room facilities were very basic, and the cleanliness was appalling. There was leftover water in the kettle with bugs floating in it, and the bottom was full of disgusting green gunk. Breakfast was very simple, with hardly any options. When I checked in, I found it odd that all the surrounding hotels were fully booked, but this one was practically empty. I strongly advise against staying here.

This was my choice for Wimbledon. It was well-suited for my needs. The staff were very friendly, and there was a restaurant where I could enjoy meals and drinks. The rooms were also clean and tidy. There was no elevator, but it was on the second floor, so it wasn't a problem.

Reasonable price, convenient transportation, moderate location My husband and I visited this hotel for the first time. It was recommended by an aunt and nephew who grew up in London because of its convenient location, halfway between where we were going and the airport. In terms of transportation, there is a Mitcham station nearby. It is only a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel, which is very convenient. From this station to the next Mitcham junction station, I can choose different routes to reach my desired destination. (You can check GOOGLE MAPS first and pay attention to the train time) As for the hotel, there are only stairs and no lifts. The highest level is on the second floor. The staff will help me carry my luggage up to the room. The towels and bedding are clean, but no slippers, toothpaste, or toothbrush are provided. (I saw some stains on one of the cups, so I gave it 3 points for cleanliness) There is a grocery store nearby (we bought cheese on sale for 1 pound), a PIZZA store and a BURGER store (we bought a set meal for 7-8 pounds), which can be reached in about 5-7 minutes on foot.
